    Replace 20-Year Old Roof

    I deliberated for 3 years deciding on a roofer. I finally chose The Roof Technician, not because Ilia's price was comparable to some other roofers, but because, during the quote assessment, he actually got up on my roof - the only roofer who did; his integrity in not up-selling shingles or quoting on the cheapest; his automatic inclusion of the underlay; and, his commitment to his workmen, that convinced me to hire Ilir and Arta. The job was done in early July 2019 and his staff were hardworking and cheerful. It was good to see Ilir involved onsite getting on the roof, explaining things to me, having his workers take photographs as the job progressed, and helping clean up. So happy! Highly recommend.

    New shingles

    ILIR and his crew were terrific. On time, tidy and professional. ILIR kept in touch via text and was very hands on at our house - working right along side of his team. Highly recommend!

    Remove old skylight and replace with roof/shingles

    Ilir came shortly after I asked for a quote. He was a very amiable fellow, easy to talk to, and knowledgeable about anything to do with roofing. His quote was reasonable and I had him do the job of taking out an old skylight that was causing condensation problems in my washroom. They came today and just finished the job in about half a day. Work was done well, site is clean and it was a no fuss contract. I'll certainly call Ilir up again in the future for anything to do with roofing, Would recommend his team to anyone needing work on roofing.

    If the answer is blowing in the wind, then the answer is "shingles".

    On account of a particularly strong gust during Monday night's wind storm, a couple of chunks of shingles were found scattered hither and yon on a grim and gloomy Tuesday. Wednesday morning, sunny and bright, we saw the shingle-less patches on our roof. The roof was still under warranty, but apparently that isn't worth a tinker's cuss when your contracted roofing company has no webpage anymore and a voicemailbox that is too full to accept more messages. So! I phoned around to various roofers, left messages, sent emails, filled out online forms... THE ROOF TECHNICIAN responded in about twenty minutes. Maybe less. About ninety minutes later, Ilir and his coworker whose name I never learned pulled into my driveway with a stack of shingles matching those on my roof. Twenty minutes of hammering thereafter, it was as though Monday's storm hadn't happened at all. ...Except for the shingles scattered around the property. I'll collect them later. It's dark out now, c'mon.

    The Roof Technician Magicians

    Ilir, Arta and the whole team (I wish I could remember all your names to give you all credit) at The Roof Technician were amazing. The ineptitude and sloppiness of the duro-last roofer I was unfortunately dealing with before, only made the professional, efficient and knowledgeable people at The Roof Technician appear even more fabulous. Thank you for showing up early, doing an amazing job and being so pleasant to work with. I want to keep you a secret but I have to sing your praises!

    Professional, fast, and friendly

    We put off getting our 2 kitchen skylights fixed after they started to sporadically leak because we were concerned about getting the right contractor who could do the job quickly and at the right cost. After getting quotes and timelines from a couple of companies we came across The Roof Technician on HomeStars. After talking to Arta in the office we knew we were in good hands. Ilir came over to review the situation and provided us with great options and a very reasonable quote. The work was done quickly, cleanly and with minimal disruption to the family (quite the accomplishment in a room that is central to the household). Ilir was a master at matching shingles so you could not tell which ones were replaced. And he even came back to fix a couple of shingles on another part of the roof. Ilir and Arta are a great team and we would recommend The Roof Technician to anyone.

    roof skylight replacement

    my old skylight started leaking I got a company from home stars I got $900 for repair which I think was very high cost, I tried home technician he said it cost $400 to repair but I wan't do it coz it will leak again and No guarantee!! he suggested new ones with 5 years guarantee and can be done in a week. we agreed and after 1 week they did it in a perfect, quick, and very proffessional way. Ilir and his team were great inside and outside the house, I recommend them highly. I am not sure if 2 skylights would cost $3000 !! but I am satisfied.

    Fixed roof leak

    Fantastic company to work with. Got back to me quickly and fixed the problem the next day. I highly recommend Ilar and his company. Use this company, you won`t need to call anyone else.

    Skylights Changed, Roof Assessed and Improved

    My old skylights were 37 yrs old and after the last spring storm, one skylight leaked. My roof is about 9 yrs old. I suspected another skylight was leaking internally (downhill). I had 5 companies assess my roof. The Roof Technician, Ilir, did a meticulous analysis of my roof and very clearly communicated his findings. His roof analysis also coincided with the roof analysis of a former roof expert who could not do the job at the moment. The other roof quotes from other companies were claiming other/more problems, and the quotes were much, much higher. I trusted Ilir and he did a great job. The new glass skylights look great and he replaced all water damaged plywood/internal painting of the wall. Exposed roof nails were also taken care of. The new skylights have also passed the "rain" tests! I highly recommend this company.

    Roof repair

    From the first phone call to the completion of the job, I was very pleased! They arrived on time, worked very efficiently and got the job done to my complete satisfaction. Excellent cleanup and respect for the neighbors property. I would definitely recommend them.
