    Second Floor Addition

    This was my second time to hire Rigid Frame. We hired Rigid Frame spring of this year. This time around we need permit drawings so we can add a third bedroom on top of our existing garage. As always, Arvin and Pezhman are spot-on to their design and we received our permit drawings within 2 weeks of submitting the application. The coordination with Arvin is seamless. He is always available and made me feel that I’m their only client. I highly recommend the team of Rigid Frame for all your renovation needs. FYI: I hired Rigid Frame Builders, their sister company, to construct our bedroom addition.

    Construction of 2 storey window wall

    I am so glad I hired this company! After providing us with structural engineering drawings to get a building permit to replace our wall of windows at the back of our house, I decided to hire Rigid Frame to do the construction, which included the installation of steel beams & posts, laying foundations, interior drywall, roofing, electrical work, decking and siding. It was the best decision I could have made. The expertise of this company was exactly what I needed for a project that turned out to be way more complex than I had anticipated. Pezhman and Arvin provided excellent advice regarding the project, and the main builder, Ejay, was extremely hard-working and multi-talented. I revised various aspects of the design as we went along, and Pezhman and his team responded to all the changes with enthusiasm and support. They went the extra mile every time. They were extremely thorough, making sure everything was done RIGHT. The end result is a stunning wall of windows with a walk-out to the back yard. We are thrilled with it and we are so appreciative of all the effort that Rigid Frame put in. They made me feel like I was their only client, but I know they were keeping other clients happy too at the same time. Pezhman, Arvin & Ejay were a pleasure to work with, so very friendly and responsive. I highly recommend them for any building project, no matter how complex.

    Architectural and Structural permit drawings

    I hired Rigid Frame when I realized that the scope of our building project required the expertise of a structural engineer. Pezhman and Arvin provided me with their knowledgeable and responsible advice right from the start. I was delighted with the drawings that they prepared and these drawings were used to successfully obtain a building permit. Rigid Frame co-ordinated everything regarding the building permit, submitting the documentation, meeting with the inspector and ensuring the final approvals. Pezhman and Arvin are also extremely friendly, responsive and a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend their services.

    Major renovation and second story addition

    Pezhman is a self-motivated team member and a pleasure to work with. He demonstrates superior technical ability and produces work of exceptional quality. Pezhman takes the time to fully understand the scope of projects and displays keen attention to detail. Pezhman and his team were able to start and finish the design, architectural and structural drawings of our renovation/addition of a second story. Zoning and permits were handled without hiccups thanks to there professionalism. My wife and I are extremely excited and happy with the final results.

    full house structural and architechtural design

    We purchased a 90+yro house which needed a full house renovation including basement underpinning. Pezhman and his team (Arvin and Emeline) did a great job from the very start and carefully listened to our needs and desires and guided us with what made sense. Pezhman is very nice and PATIENT and technically knowledgeable which we are very grateful for that because in this business it's very hard to find such people (talking from my personal experience so far!) Our underpinning drawings got accepted in 2 weeks so we could start the job on time. The rest of our drawings got delayed due to some city complications which were not the Rigid Frames fault, however their superb support was very heartwarming during such stressful time :) We are very happy with our decision and will definitely recommend them to anyone who's seeking for the best support and results.

    Interior Walls Removal

    Amazing company to work with. Everything was as promised and on time. They started on the scheduled day and finished before the promised date. I wish there are more companies managed like this to do business with. Thank you Arvin & Pezhman. Highly recommended!

    Drawings And Permits For whole house renovation

    I purchased my house in June and I planned to do a full renovation of the house plus underpinning of the basement with getting all the required permits from the city. I had the pleasure to find and work with Pezhman and Arvin for that matter and I am really happy about their service. They did structural and architectural drawings for the whole house renovation which included removing load bearing walls to make an open concept house, cutting out doors and windows, underpinning of the basement, drawing a floor plan for the basement, etc. I also plan to do the HVAC drawing with them as well. Pezhman and his team were very responsive, helpful, knowledgeable, and experienced. Pezhman has a very likable character, very reasonable person and always open to discussion and new ideas. The fact that he would always take the time to answer all my questions is a big PLUS for them. I would certainly recommend Rigid Frames for all your drawings needs if you are doing small or big renovations. Looking forward to getting the revision approval from the city.

    Structural Analysis and Drawings for Bathroom Reno

    Pezhman provided a structural analysis on a complex bathroom renovation project for my designer and me. He and his team quickly understood our needs, and supplied us with detailed engineering drawings that were very effective in meeting our goals. His work was an important part of helping us move forward with the project.

    Permit Drawings and Committee of Adjustment Application

    Rigid Frame’s patience all throughout this project (third floor addition, rear extension, underpinning) made our project possible. They were with us throughout the process; we went through the committee of adjustment before the main permit application and we felt that their knowledge, experience and expertise helped to pass all the stages to obtain the permit so we can build our new home. We are very happy and satisfied on how they approach each step. Being one stop shop, they prepared all our architectural, structural and HVA drawings. We also went through several plan changes/revisions during the course and Rigid Frame handle very well. I’m very happy to recommend Rigid Frame for all your drawings needs if you are doing an extensive renovation. We’re also getting a quote from them for the construction and would like to hire them for that stage as well

    Structural drawings for open floor plan

    We hired Pezhman and Arvin to help us open the floor plan of our home in Woodbridge. This job was for the preparation of structural drawings for permit to remove a pony wall and two columns on the main floor of our house. We have worked with them previously on other projects so naturally they were our first choice for this job. Wow - another great experience! Pezhman and Arvin went our of their way to ensure that our needs were met. This was only a small job but we were taken aback by how much thought and care they took to ensuring all the details were perfect. At the site visit, we spoke about our priorities in this job (e.g. no work in the basement since it is already finished) and they were able to work the design around our needs. We are thoroughly impressed by Rigid Frame Structural Engineers and will certainly use them again for future projects.
