    Heat pump replacement

    On Dec 22/22 they mandated our VISA to pre-authorize the product order & service commitment and promised work would be scheduled within a week. It is now Feb 9/23, & product still not available nor work done. Half our home is not being heated, adding strain to the only single pump we have. They have threatened a hefty cancellation sticking charge to our VISA if we try to source our heat pump somewhere else, even though their Suppliers order has not arrived to their warehouse yet.

    Smart Technicians, good customer service

    Heating system didnt worked , the technician changed a part and on the other one it was another problem which solved .

    Broken thermostat on Sunday during a winter storm

    I have an annual HVAC maintenance contract with this company for spring and fall. My thermostat broke on Sunday, so I called them and a technician was sent out within two hours to fix it. He was super nice, experienced and very knowledgeable - he even offered some good tips on how to maintain my furnace and air conditioning systems.

    Replacement of insuite fan coil unit actuator

    The technician came to service my in suite fan coil unit as the actuator needed to be replaced. The technician kept me informed throughout the appointment. The actuator was replaced and the technician ensured that my unit was working properly before he left.

    HVAC fan replacement

    I had been having a noise coming from the HVAC system for a while. I got a recommendation to call Thermo Cool and they sent a very experienced Technician, who identified the issue with the fan right away, explained me what he was going to do, clarified the costs before starting and took care of the repair in the amount of time quoted. Very happy with the efficient service.

    Installation

    Excellent service from Thermo Cool! The technician who installed my unit was very knowledgeable and took the time to explain how everything works. All of my questions were answered in a timely fashion. Would recommend to family & friends.

    Replaced Faulty Thermostat and Actuator

    Communication with the company was very good. An appointment was set up on the day that I called. The serviceman, Jamie, was excellent. He showed me what was wrong, and replaced the necessary parts. All done very competently.

    maintenence coordinator

    Our office a/c was very old and therefore stopped working right in the heat of summer. Made the call to this company , they came out , looked at the a/a , informed us that we did need a new unit. Jamie was extremely knowledgable & polite , explained what would be the next steps towards either trying to repair or just replace.

    Honest and professional, for condo fan coil unit

    We've used Thermo Cool a couple times since purchasing our 8-year-old condo, two years ago. This company is one of the contractors recommended by our condo. They were here this week to investigate a persistent annoying noise coming from our fan coil unit. The technician was prompt, professional, and thorough. He was able to rapidly identify and fix the problem, explaining everything as he worked. (The issue was a loud "water hammer" noise every time the cooling water valve closed, at the end of a cooling cycle. A slight adjustment to the opening position of the valve stopped the sound). No attempt to "upsell" me on unnecessary parts/services (which I have heard other companies try to do), and I think that $160 for the first hour of work is reasonable for downtown Toronto.
