    Furnace AC installation

    The estimator was professional, knowledgeable and gave a great, competitive price. Installers were efficient, courteous and clean. When it was found that they had inadvertently turned off a breaker switch to my basement fridge/freezer and I had some food spoiled, they sent me a cheque for the amount with apologies which I thought was great. I would recommend them!

    Furnace repair

    They are prompt, reliable and professional. I called them mid-morning about a problem with my furnace not working. Before 5 p.m. a technician had arrived, figured out the problem and repaired it. I highly recommend them.

    Furnace Replacement

    We are very happy with the service provided by Summer and Smith for our furnance replacement. From the inspection, to the estimate on which furnace our home required to the final installation. Very professional, very courteous and friendly. We will certainly be calling them for services and when our A/C required replacement. Thank you for the great service would 100% recommend.

    Gas hook-up for clothes drier.

    Scott appeared at the appointed time , chats easily giving information and advice, squeezes into a tight place and has our drier connected quickly and expertly. Could not ask for better!

    Still Happy After All These Years

    A call to the office and an appointment was made. In addition to an annual maintenance clean a small part was not functioning. The young man that came was both polite and efficient. He needed to order a part but figured out a work around so the fireplace could be used until the new part arrives. As I said in the title, I'm still happy after all these years.

    Fixed furnace and thermastat

    Summers and Smith came as soon as I needed them the young man who came was polite and very knowledgeable. He fixed the problem right away and explained everything as he went along. I would definitely use Summers & Smith again and highly recommend them.

    Hot water heater replacement

    Service from sales to installation was terrific. I was guided through each step of the way and answers given to every questions asked. The delivery and installation team arrived well within the window promised and the work was done efficiently. They then explained what was done and any maintenance I had to be aware off. The cleanup afterwards was thorough.

    REPLACMENT OF AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM

    My 15 year old air conditioning system finally broke down after a summer of intense heat. I called Summers and Smith whom I have used for service for many years. Within two days I had a quote and three days later the full installation. The installers, Scott and Grant did an excellent and expert job. I highly recommend this company!

    Furnace cleaning to retain warranty

    S&S are my Go To HVAC people after several jobs. They keep to a schedule, keep you informed and of course do good work. More importantly they look for ways to improve your situation by correcting things that are required, letting you know what to watch for and making suggestions to help. The technicians are very qualified and they are polite. But even better they smile and seem to enjoy their work. What more can you ask.

    Requested for top-up of refrigerant for AC unit.

    I had called and requested for my AC refrigerant to be topped up. Technician came to my residence and informed in 2 minutes that sale of R22 refrigerant used in my AC was stopped as of January 1, 2020. I would have expected Summers and Smith Cooling & Heating Ltd representative to at least ask me (when I had called to set up appointment) whether my AC refrigerant was R22 as this refrigerant was stopped. I could have checked the AC model information tag on the AC to see if the refrigerant was R22 before booking the service call. Assuming I was not able to find which refrigerant was used from the AC specification tag put on the AC, I could have taken a decision not to go ahead with the service call. Helping customers take a better decision to go ahead with a service call is a sign of a good and reliable company. I had to pay $146 for the service technician to come and let me know refrigerant was not available.
