These guys were amazing I am so grateful for the job they did moving me and my family. They were meticulous with my packing and the movers were all around pleasurable to work with They took great care of my mirrors and TVs and they handled my stairs no problem. The quote was dead on and I could not have asked for more. Great work guys I appreciate the dedication.

Booking with Metropolitan movers is a big mistake. The movers essentially showed up almost three hours late then tried to do a shake down for more money about 15 minutes later. They were supposed to show up at 9am and instead showed up at 11:40am, with no real explanations from either the movers or the company. Repeated calls to the company during the wait time and throughout the day were never returned or followed up on, not once....you would think a company would care about problems the client was having, but these problems were seemingly normal and of no concern. Having finally arrived, the movers walked to the top of the house to bring a box downstairs, then stopped working and demanded more money because the house has stairs. Extra fees had been discussed and agreed upon while the booking was made, the house having stairs was made clear during the booking, and an extra fee for them was not mentioned nor was it on the confirmation email where the other extra fees were made clear. I would never use this company again nor recommend it to anyone I know.

These movers proved to be polite, professional & very efficient. I hired them to take care of getting us to our new house and couldn’t be happier with the choice. They were on time and on target with the estimate. As soon as the movers arrived and after a few minutes to check out the task at hand, they went right to work. No damage to our furniture and no crushed boxes. We asked for three movers, and this turned out to be the best choice as we actually saved time & money in the end. Would absolutely recommend to everyone as they made this move one of my easiest.

First time dealing with this moving company. They showed up on time, treated our belongings with care and respect, and each member of their team went the extra mile to help us with the move. They're honest and trustworthy and you don't need to be standing over them watching their every move. This team really takes pride in their work and that's exactly what we were looking for. Overall very satisfied with the service.

After getting quotes from more than 8 movers, we decided on Metropolitan as they gave us a firm price instead of a rough estimate. They carefully took all the tables, beds and furniture apart and packed it neatly. They got to our new house safely and unloaded everything in 3 hours and put everything back together perfectly. My experience was very positive and most important the price we ended up paying was exactly as quoted.

We have moved residences 9 times in the last 10 years, so needless to say we have some experience moving. This company was one of the better ones we ever dealt with. I like their professionalism, courtesy, promptness and honesty when dealing with someone you don't know. They made sure we understood everything up front in terms of their fee structure before I hire them. On the day of the actual move, 2 very courteous and hard working men showed up on time. Their work was organized and fast and most importantly, they took great care with our belongings. We have not found a single blemish or breakage from the move. They carefully wrapped everything in wraps, boxes and blankets, so it was well protected. No doubt, we will hire them again in the future.

Overall I had a smooth experience with metropolitan. the movers worked quickly and did not waste time chatting or working too slowly. Everything was wrapped and protected safely and nothing was damaged. The prices are very fair too. The customer care people are experienced and know their line of work as they guided us how to tackle the move in the best way. I will definitely be thinking of this company again in the future.

I had a wonderful experience with these movers. Overall they were fast and very diligent. It snowed heavily on the day of the move, so that slowed down the process somewhat, but these guys did unbelievable work with our heavy furniture & boxes. Nothing was broken or scratched. I am glad I checked out the Homestars reviews and chose this company.

From my past moves I dealt with a lot of stressful movers who never cared at all. Too many complications always arise like hidden charges, broken items and rude drivers. But these movers gave me a new view on a moving company that there are still companies who care about their customers. They packed everything in a few hours and were extremely helpful. The guys were highly competent movers from the first call, to the customer service guys, to the actual movers. I'm happy with the service that we received.

We moved 7 times in the last 2 years and it might seem like we love to move all the time but quite the contrary, every time it's always very STRESSFUL. This time around, I did my research and found Metropolitan Movers recommended on different sites. They were careful & efficient, and most important of all they easy on the pocket! These guys had everything unpacked in our new home in less than 4 hours, it was fantastic. This was by far the cheapest & most stress free move so far!
