We needed to renovate a 14 steps stairs cover with carpet and without handrails. We had 3 contractors visiting and bidding on the job. We decided to go with Sapphire Stairs And Railing and are very happy with the outcome. Competitive price, flawless job from begining to end.

Jay was very pleasant to work with (as were Kyle and Sam). They came in and removed the old carpet, refinished the railing, put in new posts and spindles, and finished the hardwood flooring. Any small issues (one of the posts had a sharp edge) were resolved immediately. Great service and beautiful work.

Jay did an amazing job with our stairs and railings! He gave us a very reasonable quote, was able to work for us despite his busy schedule, and definitely delivered on the final result. His suggestions made our stairs look better than we imagined it would, and we couldn't be happier 12/10 would recommend

From the no pressure quote: Kyle was enthusiastic about the possible finish product (Flooring and Stairs) within the scope of our vision. What we liked right from the start was the fact that there were no inflated-unrealistic expectations suggested by this contractor. Very professional This all showed in the finish product They (Sapphire Team) treated our home as though they were working on their own. Jay (the Installer) and team were perfectionist during the stair install while Kyle did a tremendous job mixing the stain to what my wife was asking for. Each day like clock work, they cleaned up before leaving I hope they keep up the great work for years to come, as they are now highly recommended. Thanks guys!

Jay and Kyle transformed our old staircase covered in carpet to a beautiful modern wood - colour matching with our new hardwood flooring. Jay and Kyles price bet every other quote we had and we’re unmatched on the friendly customer service! We are very happy with the result and have already recommended them to others.

Clean, professionally done, on time as promised, bedroom level with all closets and hallway done in 1 day, main level and finishing trims done the following day, all cutting done outside the house. Swept and cleaned all garbage as they worked. Listened to my concerns with transitions between different floors and made sure it is level. Beautiful work, I used them before and will recommend to everyone! Thank you guys for great work!

We had Sapphire Stairs do our main floor stairs to top floor, as well as hallway upstairs in hardwood. The quote was very reasonable and timing was very quick. We are very satisfied with the job. Jay took about 3.5 days to finish the job complete. He also finished the stairs off with some very good trim work. He also found a very good color match to our existing hardwood on the main floor.

Jay did great job changing my stairs from carpet to hardwood. Also completely changed the railing. Jay did an excellent job matching the stain of my stairs to my existing floor. Pleasure to work with and very professional.

I originally hired a friend who assured me he was a pro at stairs and oh was that a big mistake, as it ended up costing me unnecessary $$$ as he didnt really know much of what he was doing. After all my wife's comments I called sapphire stairs, 2hrs later Jay was already at my home to go over the project. I am very picky when it comes to finding contractors so from the moment Jay started talking stairs i knew he knew his stuff. He asked me what I wanted and worked out the best option within my budget right on the spot. Told me it will take 3 days to complete and I didnt need to worry about anything. Jay is a great guy, very friendly, respectful and honest. I have a 6 month old and I am grateful that Jay kept the noise level to a minimal and NO dust at all in my home which was a big concern of mine. He did ALL of the cutting outside. He started at 9am and worked till 5pm each day. We were also able to go up and down the stairs while work was being done. While working he kept my wife involved with her likes and dislikes of the process. Any change that was needed was corrected no problem. The job was completed in exactly 3 days. Jay went above and beyond on the project. Stairs look amazing. Friends and family love it. I've been walking on all different angles trying to hear squeaks in the stairs over the last 2 weeks. Well I must say no squeak was found. No noise and no dust and my wife love them. Already referred sapphire stairs to coworkers.
