    Replacement of Windows

    We reached out to Consumer Direct Windows and Door for the replacement of our Windows and Doors. "Greener Homes Grant" was going to expire so we ordered windows and doors to take advantage of rebate. The company had a promotion on going at the time and said white inside and free upgrades to black on the outside. It was missed that all 5 or 6 windows came white inside and outside resulting in the windows had to be repurchased and reinstalled. Our installer (3rd party) for the collected the windows and noticed the windows were the wrong colour however didn't say anything. I didn't notice until the end of the installation, clean up from the installation was also a big undertaking as the windows were replaced on the same floor but on two opposite sides of the house, dust blew all over. After calling Consumer's, they apologized and agreed there was an error and did not put an issue out to replace and install. Thankfully there was no additional cost. However this was an additional mess that we had to clean up. The basement windows that we were recommended to replace however (4 windows) they were not energy efficient and did not qualify for the rebate. Customer Service from Sales Associate & Consumers was great, through out the process however I wish they would have been able to identify that the windows were wrong at the factory approx. 20 windows that were white/black and 6 were white and white.     Window install for 6 unit complex

    Jerry was awesome to work with - very down to earth and knew what I was looking to have done. He was able to take all measurements and provide a quote the same day - he didnt waste any time. I didnt bother obtaining multiple quotes as his prices were very fair and he expedited my request to have it installed fairly quickly. His team came and installed all windows and cleaned up very well. I was surprised how clean the units were as they took away all existing windows and debris. Definitely recommend and I will be using this company for all my future window needs.

    Exterior Doors

    We are very happy with our new doors. The team was great. Excellent communication, very friendly and knowledgeable. Would definitely recommend and use again in the future!

    All new windows and sliders

    We greatly needed to replace all of the windows on our main and upper floors and received a few quotes. In addition to the windows, we also had wood surrounding some of our windows which was starting to rot, and those needed to be replaced or covered. We decided to go with Consumer Direct due to the quality of the 3 paned windows and the fact that they were willing to take care of the cladding on the wood outside. Other providers that quoted us did not offer this service. We were also interested in applying for the rebate offered by the government and appreciated that Consumer Direct facilitated that process including the appointment set for the pre-inspection with EnerGuy after that it was smooth sailing and we had our rebate within the year. I understand the process in applying with the government can be time-consuming and difficult so tremendously appreciated this extra service. I would highly recommend this company and will be using them again for replacing our front door.

    Windows

    The Windows were installed on a timely manner, my only beef is that i was told that it would take 3 to 4 months for me to receive my rebate from the Govt. but as of yet i have not seen any rebate from them, especially when i gave all my info to Energuy that was required

We're sorry it is taking so long for you, but we expect they will be able to catchup very quickly. On the upside, thankfully you got in when you did and were able to take advantage.     window replacement

    My project involved replacing 8 windows and patio doors. The job assessor and the person who measured were most informative along every step of the way, answered all my questions and gave great advice, kept me upright date on every step in the process. Would definitely recommend discussing and planning your project with these guys before making a final decision

    Windows and doors replacement

    Great experience all around. David provided so much knowledge and expertise during the consultation, it made us super comfortable and excited to make such a large investment; Diane, on the admin side, helped answer the million questions that I had; and the install crew were very friendly and professional. We are thrilled with the new windows and doors. Would absolutely recommend their services.

    Good price but poor customer service

    From getting the quote to booking the date for measurements were all good. My issue started when the guy that was scheduled to come get the window measurements when he showed up so late for his appointment and wasn't apologetic at all. The way he worked inside my house taking measurements, you can tell he only cares about finishing his job and doesn't care if he breaks something while working. Secondly, the people who were supposed to come in and install the windows showed up 5hrs late and they have so much attitude by the way they talk or do things around the house, I decided I would call the company and complain about their behavior with the clients. Overall, good value for the work done but customer service and time punctuality can be improved.

    Purchase and installation of Patio doors

    We are more than happy with the purchase of patio doors. Installation was very professionally done in a clean and timely manner. Would highly recommend this company.
