    Emergency furnace maintenance

    I phoned Reliance a day after moving to my new home, as the furnace seemed to stop working very suddenly. I phoned (Sunday of a long weekend!) and was greeted by a friendly customer service rep who booked an appointment for the following morning. Shortly after, a technician (Adam) phoned to say he could come within the hour. Adam was able to troubleshoot our issue quickly (over heating), and did a few extras such as replaced the filter, replaced the batteries in our thermostat and did an extra clean up to ensure the furnace would work well until we could book a full inspection (furnace is 15+ years old and had not been maintained well). He even gave us advice for a few other 'move in' related projects! Adam was fantastic, very thorough, and we booked a monthly service contract. Looking forward to having Reliance come to give us a full check-up on the AC shortly. I would recommend Reliance (and in particular, Adam!) if you are in need of an emergency furnace call or are looking for an ongoing furnace maintenance provider.

    Furnace Air Condition and Tankless

    I needed an air condition for my new home and decided to call Reliance because of their reputation and product line up. I called a few more BUT This was also the only company that gave me an appointment on a Saturday night when I finished work. Wendy was very personable and professional in her approach. She did a site inspection of the entire house prior to offering options and educating us on what options would adequately meet our needs. We reviewed 3 options with different features and in the end made a decision that suited our home and budget. Wendy was very patient throughout the entire process. After competing the paperwork Wendy took another 26 minutes explaining what would happen on day of install. To our surprise she arrived with the installation team with gifts of coffee and muffins. This project was a very good experience and I recommend Wendy and Reliance every chance I get!

    New AC and Furnace Installation

    New AC/Furnace installation. Kevin and Andrew arrived on time. They fielded all the questions I had with regards to the installation. They worked diligently and completed the installation on time.

    Furnace Tune Up

    John Saliba provided the tune-up. Last year John was here and solved an AC problem I had that other technicians could not figure out. It was nice to see him again as I am totally confident in his expertise.

    Hot water heater

    Dealing with Reliance was very professional. From the phone call we made on a Holiday Monday, to the quick response home visit by Grayson. Many thanks for the repair work done.

    Water Heater Replacement

    Woke up and found our laundry room was full of water as the water heater was "done" Put the call in and within 2 hrs had a serviceman on the job. Andy, TM # 2312 was great. Very professional and went the extra mile for us.

    Hot Water Tank Repair

    Dave S. , employee # 1618 was our service rep. He was here promptly as he said he would be, very polite and efficient, fixed our problem expertly and everything was good to go with our rental hot water heater.

    Hot water tank replacement

    My hot water tank blew,last weekend, it leaked water from the bottom because it had rusted out. I called Reliance Home Comfort and an appoibtment was set up for the next day. Later that day I received a call from the technician (Andrew Cheng) asking if he can come right away. When he came he assessed the situation and explained what happened. He even explained the options of installing a tankless system. After I decided to stay with the regular tank Andrew went back to his depot to get the correct size tank because I had 60 gallon tank. When he came back he took great care in Reliance Home Comfort.

    Replace furnace & new A/C

    At our annual furnace cleaning/checkup it was recommended that our 22 year old furnace was getting to be due for a replacement. Ryon Wells(1558) let us know that the CO levels had stated to rise indicating that the units heat exchanger may be starting to clog. He referred us to Steve Mapletoft(home comfort adviser) to discuss our options. After looking at the available furnaces, we decided to buy the SmartAir 5000 bundle(70000 BTU furnace + 2 stage A/C + Ultra Violet filter and communicating thermostat). Installation was scheduled for Friday the 16th. Daniel and Kory called about 45 minutes before arrival to let us know they were on the way. The installation was straight forward and done in a timely manner. I had requested the A/C pipes run high between the furnace cold air return and air outlets out of the way and they did. They did everything possible to accommodate my installation requests. The house was left as clean as it was when they came. The only negative point on this installation was that my outdoor A/C unit could not be mounted on brackets due to the size of the unit. I had been told the unit could be mounted on brackets. It was quickly seen that it was too large/heavy for the brackets. The unit now sits on slabs. Had I known the brackets could not be used, I would have been able to look into my options before the install date.

    Hot water tank

    My mother's hot water heater was not working. Turned out it was a burned fuse. Amber was very nice and patient with my mother (a senior citizen) and did not make my mother feel like it was a stupid service call. This is my second time dealing with Amber (my furnace had issues this winter) and she was very pleasant both times. What a nice person she is. Thank you
