    Installation of new Furnace and Hot Water tank

    I was pleased with the 3 gentlemen who installed our new furnace and hot water tank in November. Daryl, Wes, Bill thank you for the fabulous service and to Bruce Hamilton who very professionally made consideration of the SmartAir 5000 furnace for our home the right choice. The professional workmanship, timely installation and courtesy follow up shown, deserves recognition. Thanks Reliance - you've hired the best. House is toasty warm .... loving it.

    hot water tank replacement

    I had my hot water heater replaced, I rent it from Reliance. Excellent service, very quick service. I thank John (repair guy), his employee # is 1985 or 1485. He was friendly, even checked fixed the leaking pipe leading to the tank, he was here at my home working for almost 2 hours.

    change water tank

    My old water tank was broken. Wes and Ringo went to my home to replace it. they did the work pretty quick and good, nice attitude too. they are good technicians. thank you.

He gave me all the information that I need to make an good informed decision that would work with my home and family.     Water Heater

    The Ice Storm 2013 I live in Newcastle, Ontario and my Water heater was damaged from the Ice Storm of 2013. I noticed this at 11:46 p.m. on Monday and called Reliance Home Comfort right away. They assisted me in how to turn off my Heater Heater plus arrange for a Service call. I mentioned we had no power since Saturday Night and if it would be possible for the Service Man to come A.S.A.P. She put a RUSH order and the Service Man came to day he was booked for and called before he came. Very pleasant and helpful. Explain what happened and how he fixed it. His name is Mohammed Wasay.     Service

    Mr. R. Knicely (1568), Arrived between the time slot. The service was outstanding. A trustworthy and honest gentleman, and I was pleased that he was assigned to the service call. He took great care to ensure the job was done right. Thank you Richard.

    hot water tank venting

    not happy at all with Reliance, had to have our hot water tank replaced (rented from Reliance) and the venting was not to code so it had to be changed at a cost of $182. Friends had their tank replaced Christmas day (again rented from Reliance) and they didn't need to pay for their venting, he refused to pay it and the service tech waived the cost of the new vent, so I wonder exactly what it is you are paying every month when you rent the tank, sometimes I think you would be better off to buy one and get the five year warrantee.,

    furnace out

    furnace quit at 9pm Dec 25th, called Reliance as have plan, said technician be out next day between 1 and 6pm. Called on 26th and said thay could come earlier which was fine, technician said did not have parts, he called warehouse left message and he hoped somebody would get back to him but he doubted it, he called back couple hours later said he had motor and would be 1 hour which he was, opened new box and said module was not with motor and would call again, he thought module came with motor, should he not have known that? said courier would deliver new module first thing in morning and for us to call and they would send somebody out, 11:40 no courier, called Reliance and was told if it did not come today Friday 27th than it would be following Monday 30th, woman answered phone said that we have a fireplace, which is correct but in only one room in a 6000 sq.ft house, temperature below 50 degrees, asked if she could trace courier and she said did not have that capability, now I guess we just wait, local company near by has this part but why should we pay them when we have contract with Reliance? VERY POOR SERVICE

    SERVICE

    I just joined reliance homecomfort,quiet pleased with the staff when called for service or any other question pleasent on the phone.I had service done by Mr Adam( techinician) very pleasent gentleman answered any question asked wish merry xmas to Mr adam and all the reliance staff .Paul

    Hot water tank

    Had no hot water in the house. Madw the call and Reliance had a technician out to us in 24 hrs. Gurmeet Singh came rigjt on time and was very professional from the moment he greeted me. Replaced the faulty igniter quickly with minimal fuss or mess. Very friendly and through. He saved the day and now we have hot water!!
