    Furnace check

    A technician came to do a yearly check and he was polite, friendly and punctual. Gave us good direction on how to maintain our furnce. I would not hesitate to call again next year.

    Furnace Maintenance

    Mike Zevallos did an awesome job on our yearly maintenance. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. He identified possible future issues and corrected them before it became an issue. Will always ask for him to do the work! Nick Mustari. Bolton, Ontario

    Furnace repair

    Our brand new furnace conked out two weeks after installation. We called Reliance's main number and had a terrible time with their central support trying to get someone out to service. However, when we finally DID, John Saliba came out again (we've had him before) and he did a great and quick job getting our heat back on. He clearly knows this equipment inside and out!

    water heater emergency service

    Pilot light went out one evening and despite my efforts I couldn't get it to stay lit. Since the unit is a rental, I called Reliance for service. A rep was on the phone right away, and after talking for less than a minute he made an appointment for service for the next day. The guy who came over was very polite and diagnosed the problem within minutes. It turned out to be a tripped switch on the thermocouple. He showed me exactly what happened and how to avoid it from happening in the future. All in all a good experience.

    replacement of Hot Water tank

    Replacement was done quickly & well; however, the technician disconnected an outlet on furnace to use one of his tools. This caused the run off water to flood the basement floor; reported to Reliance, no follow-up received.

    Water Heater Broken

    My rental water heater stopped working and when I phoned I had to wait more than a day for a repair person. When she arrived she was rude, she spit in my basement, broke my vent to my dryer (which she should never have touched) and finally left after 1 hr of pure torture, being afraid of the person repairing my appliance. The money charged for water heater rentals, should give us exceptional, fast and courteous service. This is not the case with this company. The most frustrating part is that I have already complained, and they know I am unhappy, yet they keep emailing soliciting for more business and just plain bothersome. We are looking at purchasing a water heater and stopping all business dealings with this company.

    Emergency Furnace Service

    We live in Brights Grove Ontario, a suburb of Sarnia. Last night when winds from Hurricane Sandy arrived, we experienced 100 km/hr biting cold winds, had 4 or 5 intermittent power outages, and our furnace broke down. Although the power outages continued on and off throughout the day, good old "Reliance Home Comfort" came and fixed our furnace in good time this morning. Our Reliance service technician was a really nice guy named Mike Jans. Now we're enjoying a nice, cozy home again, and just want to say CHEERS to you Mike, and thanks to Reliance for the great service!

    Furnace & Tankless Hot Water

    Dean Eyford recently helped us with a new Furnace and Tankless hot water. He helped us understand the choices of equipment available and how we would benefit from the various features. He was able to offer three purchase options including rental and payment plans that we could afford. He even fixed a billing issue after the work was complete!

    A/C & Furnace

    Our A/C & Furnace stopped working, and we knew exactly who to call - Mike Zevallos. Mike had done work for a few family friends and was well recommend. He came to our home reviewed the problem and was able to answer our questions on demand. He explained our options and the next few days it was installed. It's very rare to find a young man that is interested in the customer and their needs and not just a sales call. Mike Zevallos we are very thankful you did a Great Job :D We shall continue to recommend your services.

    Hot Water tank

    I removed my own water heater because it was plugged with hard water. It got dented on the bottom in transport and now reliance is charging me $750 for a 10year old water heater that doesn't work. Stay away from Reliance they are not there to help. they would not be re-selling a 10yr hot water heater again who would buy when it doesn't work. They should be fair and just charge me the $40 inspection fee. i saved them money by removing it myself anyway. I got a response from Reliance on this issue after my post. I will keep you posted on there decision.
