    Water Heater Replaced

    Arrived 45 minutes after worker called us. He had the replacement in his truck so I didn't have to wait till the next day. He worked steadily till the task of replacing our 7 year old rental. The job was completed faster than I thought it would take. I am pleased with his work.

    Kitchen Sink

    Scott was the service person who showed up within half an hour when I placed the service call. He fixed the issue right away. He was very friendly, personable, fast and efficient.

    Matt - service tech - hot water tank

    Matt, the service tech, did a great job. He was very professional and friendly. The rating reflect Matt but not Reliance. Very disappointing experience (as usual with Customer Service). Matt explained to me what the issue was with the hot water tank and asked if I had any other questions. He was able to clarify a few things for me & answered my questions. Thanks Matt!

    repair hot water tank

    Great customer service, booked for service same day, and service technition was very courteous and competent. He was very thorough in his inspection of the tank, and found the problem immediately, a short in the control wiring. He repaired and waited a few more minutes to test and prove continuos activity. Tech removed shoes and was very respectfull of ou home. Great character, and we are very happy to submit this review with extra high marks for this service.

    Great Service

    In June 2019, we turned on our AC. It was not working and the furnace iced over and then the water melted and caused a flood. I phoned Reliance and someone answered the phone right away on a Sunday. On the same day, a technician showed up to evaluate the problem. He was courteous and straight-forward. It would probably be more expensive to repair than to replace. The AC and furnance were both quite old. The technician said he could arrange for someone from sales to come the next day. We requested the same day and Dustin from sales came the same day--Sunday. The options and details were explained in a lot of detail both in writing and verbally. The pricing options were shown in printed tables. The information was very clear. The next day, we had a new AC and furnace installed. The service was efficient and reliable!

    Water softener

    Good work installing of water softener, they even took care of discarding of your old one. Clean worker conscious of cleanliness to your home. Will recommend them to any of my friends

    Run, don't walk from the worst admin customer service ever

    Renting a furnace and hot water tank from Reliance was supposed to be an affordable solution but the last 4 years with Reliance has been the worst customer service experience of my life. The real nightmare is admin/accounting. I've wasted days of my life on hold trying to help them figure out pre-authorized withdrawals. After 3 months they got the furnace account sorted out and working but 7 months later they still can't get the hot water account straight. And they have the nerve to charge me interest. I'd like to charge them for my time sitting on hold waiting for the service rep in the call centre to find 'a manger' that never appears and never follows up on unresolved issues. The install crew were lovely people (although they damaged my ceramic tile and forgot to hook up a few vents). Unfortunately I've gotten to know them on a first-name basis for service calls in the first few years. Reliance advertises 24/7 emergency support but when the furnace conked out in winter the call centre in the east couldn't figure out how to get someone to me until the next day. They want you to have annual maintenance checks on their equipment but they leave the tracking and scheduling entirely up to you - how easy (and customer-service friendly) would it be to have an automated email reminder every year to say 'hey, it's time to check/clean your furnace.' Every other service from dentists to massage therapists and hair dressers has this figured out. Frustrated beyond belief in Calgary.

    Complete HVAC / Water heating System & A/C Replacement

    Was drawn in by the Free A/C Unit being offered... Although I dont think I got it free... However Daniel was very accomodating, informative, polite, proffessional and courteous. Guided Me through the whole process, which from beginning of conversation to end of installation only took 4 days, I couldnt even get My roof done that quickly ha haha.... Installation crew where very professional, and even cleaned up after themselves, leaving Me with no mess, that didnt even happen when I put out larger $$$$ for windows and doors, but oh well. Thanks to Reliance and Daniel ... Hopefully the rebate is as good as promised

    AC replace cooling coil

    Ten years ago I purchased the Reliance home service plan, for my AC and Furnance. 5 days ago my AC broke. Dave the technician came out and assed the problem and ordered the replacement coil. It arrived in less that 24 hours and the next day the technicians came out to install the coil. The installation technicians were very professional and friendly . This service cost me zero dollars and the project would of cost at least $1700. Great service plan.

    Horrible company to deal with

    We did two separate moves (us and inlaws)and they are still billing us for the past 5 months for the sold properties even after we called in our move request and were given all the info they needed to pass on the water heaters to the next owner. We also have email confirmation that they received this info. Now they are threatening us with collections for two accounts. We've called our lawyers who assisted with the closings and once that clears everything up, Reliance can come and pick up the rental tank at our new locations and we can kiss our monthly bill goodbye for all this aggravation.
