    Outstanding Furnace Installation Service from Reliance Home Comfort

    I recently had a furnace installed by Reliance Home Comfort and am very impressed with the service. Charlie, who guided us through the process, was knowledgeable and helped us choose the perfect furnace for our home.e

    Humidifier and Furnace Replacement

    What a great experience in service! Our original plan was to replace our humidifier that was not working. Jay, who is extremely knowledgeable and professional, promptly arranged for a technician to come out to replace the humidifier. Upon installation of the humidifier, UV, and 5-filter system Cole noticed that water from the converter was leaking inside the furnace that could potentially cause a safety hazard of Carbon monoxide. I contacted Jay who immediately called Ben to come over and perform the analysis and check the furnace. Ben, who was already finished for the day, was able to relieve our worries that the carbon monoxide analysis was negative. However, Ben showed us that the converter was overheating that could shut down the furnace and also by scope that our 20 year old furnace was very rusted. The next day Jay met with us to arrange for our new furnace installation the following day. Carl and Ethan explained the work that was done for the new furnace and helped me set up the new thermostat. Jay was quite understanding that the new thermostat didnt work for us and replaced it with a newer version of our old thermostat. Carl and Ethan were very polite when they returned to redo the thermostat and pretty up the venting pipe on the outside. Kudos to the whole Reliance team! Thank you to everyone. We wouldnt hesitate to recommend Reliance to anyone who is looking for exceptional service, professionalism and being heard!

    Very well trained fitters and competent removal of old equipment and installation of new gas furnace

    Very good sales rep and same day installation by installers. Beyond pleased. Made a promise, keep their promise and delivered the service as promised

    Run away. Fast.

    We got a new furnace with reliance in August 2023. Its December 2024 now. It's Saturday and we have had no heat since Monday night. We have a small baby at home so this has been a nightmare. On Tuesday a technician came and diagnosed a new circuit board needed. He rush ordered the part, saying it would take 1-2 days. On Wednesday we called to find out the status of the part and they emailed the parts department to get in touch with us. They never did. On Thursday we called again. They said the part was to arrive yesterday and weren't sure why it didn't. The part arrived on Thursday. A technician came and said that another part was needed. This part arrived Friday night at 7 pm. We booked a service call. The technician came at 2 pm Saturday. The wrong part was sent. The currently needed parts are backordered and there's no date in sight for when we will have them. I am mortified by this experience. I will never trust Reliance again. My feet are numb. My baby isn't sleeping. We are running heaters all day long. They keep escalating the situation and nothing is getting done. I am crying as I write this.

    In the cold but now in the Heat

    Furnace died through the night so I call Reliance Home Comfort in mid morning. A service Tec (John) arrived at 1 pm and tried to get the old girl going but it finally gave up the ghost. By 4:30 pm, their sales rep (Tom) ( who was 2 hours away) arrived to give us some options. Needless to say we were all set up to expect a new furnace and A/C unit next morning. The technicians arrived next morning and by mid afternoon my house was toasty warm. All the Reliance staff were super friendly and very up front about the costs and had the paperwork done in now time at all. Thank you all at Reliance for your continued reliability!!

    New hot water tank

    Technicians on time,explained and worked clean! Sales man showed up right after,because of some changes! It was set and done very quickly!

    Rental water heater

    Contacted Reliance Nov 2023 to cancel. I had paid for the month of November 23. This is paid in advance. Reliance asked for $400 to cancel and remove heater. I asked for the agreement to be produced as their terms and conditions on their website does not state this especially for a water heater 25 years old. They were unable to produce this to my satisfaction. I returned the water heater myself in December 2023 for which I have a receipt, but they continued to bill me for Jan and Feb 2024. When I refused to pay, they contacted collection agencies even though I tried to contact them but they refused to talk to me. Collection agencies are still trying to contact me.

    Hot water heater

    Initially I had called enercare( with much hesitation)since I had a horrible experience with them. Something prompted me to look up other providers. So glad I called reliance! Friendly professional and ever so helpful and the gentleman who installed it was nothing short of creative as he came across some issues during the I stallation. He installed a new junction box( licenced electrician too, which saved me at least $600 for an external electrician I'm very happy with the service they provided and where here on time!!! Honestly I can't say enough good things about reliance. Keep up the excellent work guys!
