    Leaking bathroom tap

Absolutely love having the Reliance comfort plan. Leaves us not having to worry about minor plumbing issues that can come up in our old house. Employees are super friendly and always reliable. Chris and Paul are awesome!

    installation of furnace-Windsor

Matt and PJ did an excellent job. Worked for 6 + hours without a break. A great team. Explained everything, cleaned up everything. A wonderful experience. And they had to put up with a snarly dog, without complaint. Jim Sparrow 375 Sunnyside Blvd. LaSalle N9J3J3

    Hot water tank replacement

Hot water tank broke earlier this month and within a few hours the technician was on site to figure out the problem. Hot it working for the night but it had to be replaced. Lee was in the next day and had it installed in no time with no disruption at all to our 10 month old son who was napping. Really impressed with the way Lee took care with the house and the work area, high level of prefessionalism and went over all details of the new tank with my wife and myself.

    Annual Maintenance on furnace

The contractor who came out today was fantastic. He delivered great customer service and was very thorough and friendly. I highly recommend him. On a separate note, I strongly recommend that Reliance update their system so that customer service representatives answering the phones have access to the required information and can see what plans their customers have. Dealing with customer service is always a very frustrating ordeal.

furnace & A/C maintenance in Komoka ON

Rick, service person was outstanding. Went the extra mile to explain thermostat that installers had not installed on our rental equipment and explain what he had done in maintaining the furnace, what the A/C needed etc. Dispatch or maintenance services in London, Ontario were not so good. Reliance called us to do maintenance service, scheduled it for Sunday between 1:00 - 6:00 and never showed up. I called to find out and reception person said there was a note to call us to reschedule but no one called; we waited all afternoon. Did finally reschedule to Monday, 1:00 - 5:00; by 3:30 when no one there, I called to make sure. Was told, after being on hold for 12 minutes, that maintenance person was delayed, would not be here til 5:30. Again, no one called. When Rick did arrive, just before 5:30, he told us we weren't even on his schedule til 5:00. We find the whole scheduling scenario very unprofessional - at least call us to let us know what's going on. Rick however, was superb!!!

Replacement of a Water Heater Tank

Called on Thursday night, and a repairman named Derek came out the next day between 1:00-5:00 and installed the new tank and took the old one away within an hours time. Derek was very knowledgeable and knew what he was doing. Great Job !

Furnace Repair Under Contract - sold RENTAL contract instead

March 15, 2018 Furnace broke down (Amana GULA070AX30). Reliance was called to fix it since my mother had signed a contract to have rental water tank and furnace looked after by them. Upon calling for service, I was offered to have sales rep accompany technician. I called for service, why send a sales guy? Flag number 1. Technician arrives at our place while I am away for work. Straightforward let the guy, fix furnace, simple right? After fiddling around with the furnace the technician proceeds to tell my mom that he can't find the issue and offered to get sales guy here. Mother is a senior, she accepted to have sales guy come in. Weather is at 0 celsius. Next thing I know, I come home to a contract for a 7-year RENTAL agreement for a furnace, a/c unit, humidifier, and smart thermostat). Total lease cost, over $12k. After that agreement term of 7 years, month to month rental of $130/month. You do not own the equipment. For those duped into similar dealings, Ontario has a 10-day cooling period for agreements/contracts. Exercise it. So what happened to our furnace that was under contract for them to service? Technician took off when the sales guy arrived. So what did I actually paid for with that monthly service contract? I end up diagnosing the issue to a faulty blower fan (Goodman 10759310S) and I bought the part at Wosleley and had it replaced myself. Next time you call Reliance for a "service" call, think and act appropriately. Their agenda is not to fix your equipment.

    Annual Service of our Furnace

Because of our rental agreement, we are eligible for annual maintenance and service on our furnace. The technician arrived on time, contacted us just prior to his arrival and the service was conducted professionally. The technician ensured our home remained clean when moving between his vehicle and our furnace room, pointed out features of the furnace we were not using and did an excellent job of returning everything to its original state. We were very satisfied.
