    Customer service

    Literally the worst customer service I have ever received. They're super helpful when their trying to push their products on you, but expect absolutely nothing afterwards. I've had multiple problems, and it takes weeks to resolve. Most times I call the 24/7 help desk no one even picks up. Even the sales associate who sold me my unit takes several weeks to respond to her voicemail, and that's only when you file a complaint. Biggest regret of 2017 thus far was contacting this company.

    Hot water tank replacement

    Our hot water tank needed replacement so I called in to schedule an appointment. The service tech Kevin Mugford (DAA4525), called ahead and arrived on time. He was polite and professional in his approach. He took the time to keep things clean and tidy while he worked. He took pride in his work. Something we don't see much any more. I would definately recommend him to friends and family. Thanks Kevin!

    Hot water tank rental

    The (18 month old) hot water tank broke. I called customer care to send a technician. The call was quick the technician came the next day. It took him a few tries replacing parts then realized it was a part he didn't have. The burner. He called the warehouse (in front of me) to order the part. He was told the part was in and would be delivered later that day. It wasn't. It didn't arrive for another 4 days. All the while I'm calling them everyday to find out what's going on. One person said it would be delivered Monday (which was as statutory holiday). I called once again, the person on the phone said it would be delivered Wednesday. It came Tuesday. So I called back to ask to send a technician. They sent me the same one. He was in and out in 10 minutes and fixed the part. Not without trying to up sell me a Plumbing Plan Protection. I said I'd think about it. In a few week I received mail correspondence thanking me for choosing Enbridge protection plan. I was angry at this. Obviously. I called back again to express my feelings. The person apologized profusely and also applied a credit to my account. Next months bill showed the credit but to my dismay they still went ahead with the plan. Failed to remove it. I again called back. I'm sorry but after a certain point it very difficult to continue to be nice on the phone. If it indeed was removed remains to be seen. Be careful what you say to the technicians. go over your charges thoroughly. Did I mention the tank is a rental. Therefore any repairs or replacements is fully covered. In the end it felt as if I was being ripped off. Not a good feeling. It's a monopoly so there isn't any other options in my area. So sad.

    Hot water heater

    I have been renting a hot water heater for over 15 years from reliance. This morning I woke up to no hot water for the wife and kids to shower before starting our weekday journeys, and for heating our home. After contacting a representative I made an appointment for a free repair. The technicien came on time and attempted to remedy the problem. At lunch time I come home from work and notice that again,i have no hot water! I call the toll free home reliance comfort number to adress the problem... Grant Wilkie, the second technician, found the problem ordered the part and took the time to explain what I could do to keep my tankless water heater working till the new part comes in. Service means everything!! Thanks again Grant Marc

    Great workmanship

    Had plumbing issues with our House, thankfully we had the Plumbing insurance plan . Reliance sent 2 of their plumbers immediately, an older gentleman and younger man. They showed up on time and ready to work. They were very polite and even wore shoe covers to protect my carpet. Would recommend this company to friends and family. Thanks again Reliance

    Plumbing issue

    I have the plumbing service plan with Reliance and required the services of a plumber. The appointment was set up for the next day. The plumber Jeff called before his arrival and arrived when he said he would. Jeff was polite and friendly. After telling him the issues I was having he explained to me what he thought may be the problem and went right to work. He finished the job quickly and efficiently, he even gave me a few tips on how to help avoid similar issues occurring. If I require Reliance Home Comfort plumbing service again I would not hesitate to call and I would request they send Jeff.

    Furnace, ac, tankless, in sudbury

    Branch and Austin put in our furnace, AC, and tankless hot water heater today. They were very friendly and knowledgeable. They did clean work and explained everything in great detail. Overall it was top notch service! Thanks.

    Water heater install

    the tech that came out to install our water heater, just cut the 220v power line and left the live wire hanging there. We have called every night for a week to get someone to come back to properly deal with the wire..every time we call they say "we have no record of any phone calls". Finally they send a guy out to fix this issue..he says he can fix it no problem, five minutes time...except for they told him he was coming to look at a water heater that isn't working...they didn't send him with the proper tools to do the job. He said he'd be back in a few nights to fix it up right. Well that was a week ago, and no word from him. So we called again tonight to inquire about when he might be back and guess what? NO RECORD!!!! How can a company operate like this? They've left 220v just hanging there. I am totally disgusted with this company and I wish we would have never began dealing with them in the first place.

    new furnace and ac

    Dan Lance and Kayla were very helpful experienced courteous explain every thing in details Dan and Lance made sure I was aware of how everything worked made sure to clean up their site very pleased with them Kayla was the sales rep and she went above and beyond for us we had a previous bad experience with a reliance rep we were a little leary about renting through them a second time but she was fabulous and I also like to say that Brian the new manager in Sudbury is amazing at working with the customers Reliance has an excellent team here in Sudbury know keep up the good work

    Water Heater repair

    Water leak from the tank...called to report it and a tech was set up for between 1pm and 5pm. Casey called and was here just after 1 o'clock, told us he found the leak at the drain valve. and he would change it out with a new brass fitting. He was friendly, protected our floors and there was no debris or mess after he left. Our's is a rental tank and Reliance takes care of their product...thank you.
