    Furnace air conditioning

    So far a good experience. John Sageloly seemed helpful.We are an older couple who are not very computer savvy.He did however explain what needed to be done.Was polite and answered all of our questions.

    Plumbing issue

    I have home comfort insurance and Phil came and corrected the issues (Windsor Ontario). Not only did he sort out the problems, he explained in a simple to understand way what the problem was. He was polite and professional. Very happy with the service both on the day and prior with the booking of the appointment

    Service

    Response time within 1 hour from call. Quick diagnosis. Technical Expert very professional, courteous, knowledgeable in explaining problem found. Gave us sensible information regarding care and maintenance of our furnace and air conditioner.

    New Furnace

    Thank you to Scott Donaldson (Home Comfort Advisor) for expediting the install of my new furnace and A/C unit. He took the time to patiently explain the options available then made sure it got installed the next day. ALSO-the crew from Tricon that came to do the actual install was very professional and courteous. Thanks Jamie and crew.

    Furnace annual check, humidifier issues

    Two visits in one review - lucky enough to have Matt (Daa1920) at both appointments - a few weeks apart. First - humidifier not working - had hot water tank replaced a ways back - that tech (?) , did not hook up the water source back to the humidifier - quick & easy fixed - and we also learned there was a filter to change - who knew !. 2nd visit - annual furnace check - thankfully all is good. Thanks to Matt for friendly, professional service & for taking the time to answer all questions - quite impressed !

    Furnace and AC

    We had excellent service through Glenn Bersuk, the sales associate, as well as the installers from Above Average Heating and Cooling, the sub-contractor. Everyone treated us patiently and respectfully. Thank-you to all!

    New Furnace, Air Conditioner & Humidifier Install

    Our old furnace just died over the weekend. So we called Reliance Home Comfort to take a look. Our options were to repair it, which was a very expensive fix, or to replace it. The next day, we met with Scott (sales rep; very helpful) to figure out our options. We opted to replace it and get a new AC and humidifier too. Since we had no heat, he was able to expedite the install. The next day, we had a new working furnace. Re: the installation day, thanks to Bill and Wes for the thorough and professional install job. They showed up early, got everything up and running, walked us through the new features, and were done by the afternoon. They were even able to move the outside AC unit to a better location. Thanks for an excellent job guys.

    Phil the plumber is great

    Phil provides excellent service is personable and very knowledgeable, Shows up on time and gets the job done very quickly. I would recommend him for any plumbing you you may have

    Hot Water Heater Rental Disaster

    Had purchased a house that had a water heater rental agreement with Reliance. The 9 year old water heater they had in my house broke down in the morning, I called for service and the next available service was the next day. My family including my 2 year old had to go without hot water for the day. Paying the premium for a rental seems pointless if they leave old equipment that is prone to breaking in your house and don't have same day repair service. To add to this horrible experience, the repair person said in a very arrogant tone to me, if you didn't rent this from Reliance I would have billed you $700 today. I did not ask the service person for commentary on the service cost and I was very nice to him the entire time he was working. Seems like this might be a tactic Reliance is using to keep people on their rental agreement. A week later, they sent me notice that my monthly rental fee would go up due to their increasing maintenance costs. In summary, no same day service and a price increase on a 9 year old water heater. Sign me up for another 9 years please. I ended up cancelling my rental and purchased to own. The pay back period 3.5 years vs renting with Reliance and that includes installation and comprehensive warranty for 6 years. I am so happy I never have to deal with Reliance again.

    Hot Water Tank Thanks

    We booked online on a Monday (leaking hot water tank-rental with Reliance)-we received a call out for the next day! Charming, witty, and efficient service! Reliance is now our new 'go-to' service. Very pleased. Thank you!
