    Nothing but the worst service combo

    I bought a new house and needed to change the 20-year old water heater. Reliance was the company renting the old one for the old owner (that they never maintained based on the records), so we were sitting on top of a time bomb. So I got a tankless one based on the tech guy that came and recommended that. All my bills would go down, hot water all the time, pressure, blah blah blah. The furnace was also 20 years old, so got that changed too. They also needed to change part of the plumbing that goes out because it wasn't up to code. So they sent a sales guy to talk about the options. We came to a decision and agreed on a $180/month package, which would include the furnace, A/C, and a tankless water heater. And I got the first 6 months for free, no installation costs, they would cover everything. How great that sounds? That was just the beginning. The crew came, did a terrible job, didn't cover any of the furniture or the floor. I had glue every where. The got the walls dirty because they kept touching the walls. The entry door, same thing. It was terrible. After they finished, they were supposed to clean everything. They didn't. I had to ask the guy to come back and clean. He got a broom, and poorly swept the floor. About the glue, they said they were sorry, and couldn't do anything about it. As I said, that was just the beginning. A month later, I get a bill from Reliance. Charging me for the month they said it would be for free, and on top of that, charging me for the old water heater they took away. I called, they said they were sorry, and I would get a credit for that. A month later, I get another bill, without the credit, and charging me again for the old water heater. AGAIN. I called again, they said the same thing, they were sorry, they couldn't refund anything, and that on my next bill I would see the bill fixed. This has been happening for 6 months now. SIX MONTHS. I called the sales guy multiple times, and every time he would say he got it fixed. And here we're. On top of that, this month, I got a LATE PAYMENT CHARGE. They have me on pre-authorized debit, and they charged me for LATE PAYMENT CHARGE on a bill that I shouldn't be paying in the first freaking place. Also, every time I call them, it feels like it was the first time and that I never called them before, so I have to waste at least an hour with someone that doesn't care about what I'm saying, doesn't see what happened in the past, doesn't solve my problem, and provide the worst customer service possible. Now I'm just trying to cancel everything, and find another provider, and at the same time, get my money back.

    Kitchen and bathroom faucet installations, and others

    I got an email and then a call from Reliance, and they were so polite. I asked for a next day service and they were able to find a spot for the weekend. The service came in 30 minutes before the time slot expires and he was a wonderful and polite young man. He put on his booties and came in, walked through what faucets I got, and explained why he had to charge more and the need to change the some pipes under the sink. He cleaned up after the work was done and reminded me that I have one year warranty on his work, and this gives me comfort and satisfaction.

    I would recommend them

    I had some plumbing issues which were quickly resolved. They came fast (within 24 hours). Technician was polite and thorough. It took less than one hour. Everything is great. Thanks so much!

    Water heater run on problem

    Phoned into reliance explained the problem and she said a service would be coming on that day between a certain time frame. Sure enough I received a text saying the technician would be arriving in 15 minutes in the time frame I was told. A young gentleman came to the house and started work immediately. He was so polite and professional and it took him approximately 1/2 to fix the problem, explain the problem, clean up and on his way he went. Thank you Santiago for such a professional good job on fixing our water heater. You were so amazing to deal with and also thank you for your expertise advice. Santiago you rock

    Got my water heater fixed within 24 hours early in a cold Sunday morning

    Tankless gas water heater

    I had a service technician come and take up my old water heaters because one broke, and he installed with another guy, a tankless gas water heater. He put the red carpet down from the door to the basement. He was very pleasant and friendly. He did a great job, but I was wondering what kind of pipe is outside its really sore thumb I have other ones from the furnace which look really nice?

    Water heater

    The service technician was great. Located not only the problem but another concern and advised me on how to rectify it. Wes was very professional and had the job done in no time. Would highly recommend this company to my friends.

    Furnace, water heater and A/C rental - not respecting contract terms

    I agreed to rent the water heater, furnace and the A/C equipment as they offered a "great" package. We agreed on Sept, 2022 on a contact that states not to pay for 8 months for the rental of the Furnace and A/C and 6 months for the Water heater, the sales person cancelled all services that I previous had with this company as I didn't need any other service ( maintenance or protection plan) as it was cover in the "Rental Agreement" this meant no charges will come until the first rental fee was up in 6 months so March 2023. So far I have been charged every month $98 since October ( total +$300) for something that I don't know, and now I have an additional dispute for +$400 for a repair done in "AUGUST of 2022" when I DID have the protection plan (that was cancelled on September 26) I have backups of my contact and paper work for all the above including the repair in dispute that says $0 and that its under the protection plan. In conclusion, if you want to avoid a total nightmare I do not recommend RELIANCE for rental of equipment as they have a administration that is a disaster and their protection plan is also a mess as they will have charges coming up later that don't belong to you. If you do have Reliance - KEEP ALL YOUR DOCUMENTS well organized so you can keep track. I am still trying to sort everything our and seriously considering a report on under the consumer protection act and maybe even hiring a lawyer. this is a total mess.

    Furnace and Air Conditioner

    Our furnace broke down and needed to be replaced. Cory came on the same day to discuss our options with installation completed the next day. The installation crew was wonderful and walked me through everything. Thank you so much for helping us before the big cold snap tomorrow.

    Water Heater Tank Replacement

    Our previous water heater stopped working in the morning. Randy came over and cleaned the flame sensor. He recommended we replace the tank as it was 17 years old. He did all the work by himself, he replaced the vents to follow the new code as well. He finished quickly, he worked clean and we are very happy with the result. Thank you!
