    water heater

    Rented their water heater, one day installation. Great technician Phillip C. installed within few hours, clean, and removed the old tank. my original water heater started to leak around the holiday times, and i tried to reach all the other 24/7 companies and wasn't able to get any response.

    Hot water heater

    Water heater failed two days before Christmas . Was told tech would be there between 2-5 the following day. The next day promptly at two Tony (1362) arrived and installed a new unit in approx. 1 hour. I was very pleased with the entire procedure and Tony was a pleasure to deal with installing the new unit in neat and professional manner, a very knowledgeable tradesman , thanks Tony.

    New furnace/air conditioning

    We went with Reliance as many people we know are with them. We replaced our furnace and air conditioning unit at the end of November. The sales person said they will be here the next day. The installation crew were indeed here the next day. However, after I changed my schedule at work, they said they didn't have the furnace we had ordered and that the sales person was aware. The sales person did say they were out of the furnace and we could go with a different one, similar, but not energy star as the Carrier. After some discounts, we agreed to the Rheem. The installation crew was here thenday after. While the installation was here and finished within 6 hours. We were a bit hesitant about how quick it ended, but we were re-assured everything was guaranteed. 2 days later, the furnace stopped working. An alarm on the thermostat said there was a leak and the system shut off. We called and placed a service call. We were told a tech will be here the day after between 12 and 6 PM. At 550 pm we called and we were told that there was nothing on record regarding our request. The rep on the phone said they will send somebody. Someone did show up 3 hours later. They said it was a problem with a part and will order it. It would take a couple of days to be here. When the part came 2 days later we placed another call. I wish I remember the name of the technician that came that day or that I took pictures before and after he left. He was not impressed with the way the furnace was installed or how the 2nd tech handled the service call. He was the MOST professional, kind, hard working, patient person we probably have dealt with. He cleaned some of the mess the first crew left behind. Redirected the way the humidifier hose was installed because it was on the way. Bottom line, Reliance is not perfect. Buy no one really is. As long as they have a service technician like the last one, we will feel a bit better during the winter months.

    furnace, air conditioner, tankless water heater installation

    We had Kyle out to relight pilot light that had gone out in our water heater. While he was here, he discussed options for replacing our water heater, outdated furnace and air conditioner. Dean Timpany, an advisor came to our house and spent several hours with us to determine the best systems and options for us. He listened to our concerns and preferences and suggested a system tailored to us. We appreciated the time spent with us and the fact that Dean did not try to 'upsell' with things we didn't need or want. Dean arranged for an energy audit to be completed the next morning before Colin and Matt came to install the furnace and air conditioner. These young men were personable and efficient answering all our questions regarding the installation and operation of the two systems. The next day, they returned to install a tankless water heater. Again, they worked diligently and quickly. After they left, we noticed a small leak in a water line and called Dean. He responded immediately and had Bill come within an hour to remedy the problem. We are very pleased with our new systems and, based our experience with Reliance and its employees, would highly recommend this company.

    New water heater

    Tyler was the technician that did the install of my new water heater. Very professional, called to give me his time of arrival, cared about my home and my satisfaction. Answered all of my questions and everything he told me was true. I would definitely recommend Reliance Home comfort

    Furnace Diagnostic Service

    James (team member #2357) arrived to my home after a telephone call to notify me of his ETA and was very polite, courteous, knowledgeable and very helpful. He preformed a through assessment and determined the exact source for the problem plaguing my furnace. He kept me informed about what he was doing and recommended several options for me to consider. I wish that all service people could model the professionalism of James. Thank you Reliance Home Comfort for a job excellently provided!

    New tank and new furnace / AC rental

    Needed a new hot water tank, and the technician recommended a new furnace and AC unit too. The house is nearly 12 years old with builder grade units. So we upgraded all three through a new rental agreement. Got a great deal, 12 months free rent, and scheduled for service the same week. Have been a customer for years, and last year started the monthly home care protection plan, which had already paid for itself though furnace and AC repairs.

    Furnace

    Called Reliance just shortly after 8 am and a technician came at about 9:30 am. James Walton, team member #2357 discovered that there was no power coming to the furnace. He spent about an hour trouble shooting the problem and found out that the switch to the furnace was faulty. I had an extra switch and he changed it for us! He went beyond the call of service as we didn't have to call an electrician on a holiday! He is very professional and did everything he could to help us! Thanks so much for your fast, friendly service!

    New air conditioner and furnace

    Excellent Service! Betty Burton, sales, was very friendly and trusting and explained my options for the different units and pricing available within my budget and gave me her recommendation which I valued. Two installers showed up exactly on time at 8:30 and worked tirelessly until 5:30 to get the job done. They were professional and cleaned up everything when they were finished. They were replacing two old units and I think they went above and beyond to get the job done right. Betty followed up to check my satisfaction. Overall they surpassed my expectations and I would highly recommend them.

    Furnace

    Team Member Bill Bootle ( team member number 7945) aka Boots, fast, friendly service. Knowledgeable employee. A+ rating. Will call for this employee again, helpful, very friendly and quick service.
