    furnace tune-up

    Jason was a very pleasant technician, who did his job quickly but still took the time to let me know all the benefits of a maintnance plan for my furnance, which I enrolled in. Jason took his time explaining what he was doing and made me feel knowledgeable. Thanks Jason and thanks Home Reliance!

    Central Air Conditioning

    The unit works great and easily turns this place into an ice box in no time. Super happy with the mechanical guys who did the install. Real professional and friendly. We did have that minor hiccup with the electrical guy not showing up. I realize things happen, and the Install Manager Michael, I believe, was very apologetic and did get a local electrician to come on the next day (turns out he was the electrician who did this house during the remodel). He didn't need to put in a sub-panel either, was able to just move a few things around and create some space. That way in the future, if needed, I can still have a sub put in. I was so impressed with the Sales Rep they sent out. He explained EVERY various option that was available to me, as to work together on price. So impressed with Jon (who was leaving on vacation in the next coming days) I told him that I would wait until he was back from holidays to deal with only him regarding the install (and there were some hot days during that time). IMPORTANT: What really sold me was the NO hidden fees or charges. No, opps you will need this, or we had to do this so it will cost more. The price quoted was firm and any extras that may have come up were assumed by Reliance. That for me was the clinch, not to mention a !0 year warranty. Super Impressed. Reliance (Jon) is my first call for any future needs (and thank you Michael as well). Thank you very much

    Water Heater Rental

    This so called "Home Comfort" company is a joke from a tenants point of view. They refuse to send the bill to the tenant who has agreed by lease to pay the bill, choosing instead to send their bills to where neither the tenant or landlord lives so they can collect "late payment charges and send arrogant, threatening collection letters! What Nonsense!

    Hot Water tank

    Keith Cota employee #Rcw 2024 came and replaced a old water tank. We did a great job going above and beyond what was needed. He made sure all mess was cleaned and everything was perfect.

    Replacement Furnace and Air Conditioner

    Wanted to ensure we gave outstanding credit to Jon E., Home Comfort Advisor with Reliance. He very thoroughly and professionally answered all questions relating to the purchase of our new furnace and air conditioner. We were surprised to see him arrive at our house on the day of installation to ensure everything was going smoothly (never before have we seen the salesman arrive during installation once the deal has been made!!). He actually arrived at the perfect time as I was not happy with the location of the air conditioner (it's really big!). He worked through the issue with the contracted company and found the solution and had it moved to a place we are completely happy with. We highly recommend his services to anyone seeking an honest, forthright advisor; he went above and beyond the call of duty in ensuring our complete satisfaction! We were very happy with MRJ Mechanical Inc. who did the installation of both units, they did a very precise, neat job, their workmanship is to be commended as is their punctuality and polite manner. Thank you, thank you! :)

    replace furnace & air conditioner

    Quick & efficient, polite and very neat - no mess at all and they explained thermostat settings and how to maintain filter. Don't remember their names but should be on work order for 180 Golf links dr., baden.

    Replace hot water tank

    Team member Brad 3409 was very friendly helpful and efficient..He was very conscious of cleanliness and not leaving any mess..My only complaint was with calling in to reliance..I was on hold for 90 minutes..As a widower living alone..with water coming out of my old tank....I was very unhappy with reliance by the time I spoke to someone

    Service Call

    We just purchased a new home and while getting it ready to move into, found out we didn't have hot water. Gave Reliance a call, and they set up a time for someone to come out and check things over. Lance came over on moving day, because that was the most convenient time for us. Our water heater is in the storage room in our basement which has a roof about 5' high. Lance is much taller than this. He spent time on the water heater trying to find out why it wasn't working. He did all the diagnostics but wasn't getting the results he was hoping for. He called another technician for support. Turns out that when I used an oil-based primer, for safety reasons the sensor picked up on this and automatically shuts off the water heater. He helped set up fans in the area to clear any vapours left in the air and got it working. This was on the hottest day of the summer. He took the time to explain what happened and went out of his way to ensure everything was working before he left.

    Home owner, Hanmer, Ontario

    Service tech worked on furnace and check all issues flame identification stick need to be cleaned as a result of years of use. Pressures had fallen slightly to give minor issues, as a result of all these minor issues flame cycle would fail. Now everything running properly now. Great job and service Tech #2881
