    Waterheater replacement

    NYE our water heater leaked water- one quick call to Reliance and we had Wes C. out within a couple of hours. New water heater installed (free with our rental program) and upgraded gas vent for $180. He was personable, kind, efficient, and funny. He is a true asset to your company. Thank you

    water heater motor replacement

    My water heater motor started to fail and Reliance team was quick to help. Sam Demelo came within 24 hours installed the new motor. He was very polite and professional. Thank you Sam!

    New furnace and A/C

    Despicable business operation Had a new furnace/ac unit installed 04-14 1st issue - The sales pitch has you receiving $650.00 in an energy savings refund from the government in 6 months. THAT WON'T HAPPEN, it's been 9 months and we have received nothing. I challenge Reliance to prove that ONE customer has received this refund in the 6 month timeframe. 2nd issue - The house has been a little dry this winter, we call Reliance to come in and check the furnace/humidifier. The "trusted advisor" tech shows up and informs us that there is NO humidifier installed on the new furnace... Check the invoice....sure enough we have been charged for the humidifier, it's just NOT there. "Trusty Advisor" says nothing he can do, you have to call the office. Now the 3rd issue - calling the office brings us to a new level of deplorable customer service making us feel that it was our fault the humidifier was not installed. They make an appointment for the service crew to show up on Dec 23 between 8am-10am.....To no ones surprise....NO SERVICE crew showed for the "appointment". Further calls to Reliance have been answered with the customer service standard "we will look into it and get back to you"........ Still waiting for the call back So, there you go......3 issues.......there are more, but I'm getting bored. The company motto "We're not comfortable until you are" WE WILL SEE if they stand by their motto or if they are just another big company screwing the little guy. Satisfied with the company....ZERO..... the company charges for items they don't deliver and with the level of customer service, I think Reliance earns that rating. Recommend this company......what do you think THIS MESSAGE IS FOR R MASSINGHAM YOUR RESPONSE IS obviously an to attempt to show anyone who reads my review that Reliance does care about the customer. WELL, I posted my review on December 31st/2014 directly after posting my review I emailed a copy of the review along with my contact information to your email address. I find it interesting that you have taken the time to respond to the review(looks good for the company) but I HAVE HEARD NOTHING FROM YOU in regard to the email I sent.

    Furnace Cleaning and Repair

    Tagged my furnace after a cleaning 3 days before Christmas. I had no issues with the tagging a a seal was cracked. I scheduled an appointment to have it fixed the next day as there was no heat. I sat around between the agreed upon window (7 am to 11am). No one showed. I called back reliance and the woman on the phone kept asking me if it was about my hot water tank, I informed her it was regarding my furnace...i thought she would have known given they were the ones who tagged the furnace. The had to reschedule the appointment to the next day as a result of the no show....next day: I sat around between the hours of 8am and 1pm (the agreed upon window with reliance)....at 1pm, they were a no show again. Called reliance and i was asked the same questions by the same woman....i reminded her again that Reliance was the company who tagged my furnace...and i sat around for a second day, and a total of 9 hours, and reliance didn't show. She asked if i wanted to reshchedual again. I wasn't interested. I called Francis heating, booked an appointment..with only a two hour waiting window. He showed up on time and solved my problem quickly. Wont use reliance again, neither should you..they subcontract out and it appears their subcontractors don't really care about timeliness or service.

    Furnace stopped working

    Furnace stopped working this morning, coldest day -20 without wind called Reliance had someone that afternoon and fit it. The fan motor was burnt....Our Tech was Amber employee #1620..... Happy customer

    The guys that came to replace my water heater were awesome. They arrived right on time, did all the work in exactly the time quoted and were very friendly and helpful!

    Joe Green was the technician. He called 20 minutes prior as promised. He was quick and efficient and made some great recommendations above the call of duty. We are extremely happy with the service. Jonathan

    Water Heater repair

    My water heater is about 5 years old. Last year right after the ice storm the water heater unexpectedly shut off. This was possibly due to the vent being covered in ice. The technician sent by Reliance that time didn't do much other than turn the furnace back on. Fast forward to now, a year later and the water heater has been problematic. It would shut off more frequently requiring me to re-light it as much as 3-4 times a day. So I called reliance yesterday and was immediately booked a service technician for today. I was surprised they were able to come so soon. The technician (Josh W.) called and showed up early and on time (7-11AM). He assessed the situation with the water heater and provided me a breakdown of what he needed to do. He had to turn the water heater as it was in a position where you could not access the controls of the water heater safely. And he replaced the thermal thingy, which was causing the issue of the water heater not staying on. Josh didn't waste time and got things done in a timely manner. He was professional and transparent about what he was doing and why he was doing it. He even sold me on possibly replacing my furnace as it is on its last few weeks. If Josh is representative of the service that Reliance gives then I'm sure I will be doing business with them again in the future. Thank you Reliance and Josh W.

    Furnace and tankless water heater

    Before installation we received a very well structured presentation from Reliance's Home Comfort Advisor Lina Alviar. She explained all pros and cons of different approaches, answered all our questions with the deep level of details, and arranged for immediate installation of furnace and tankless water heater. Lina was managing the entire process from sales to installation and subsequent small fix, always followed up – that’s why the end-to-end process went successfully. We want to express our greatest satisfaction with Lina’s outstanding service - everything was done to get the customer’s satisfaction. We already recommended Reliance’s service to our friends and now recommend it to others.
