Despicable business operation
Had a new furnace/ac unit installed 04-14
1st issue
- The sales pitch has you receiving $650.00 in an energy savings refund from the government in 6 months. THAT WON'T HAPPEN, it's been 9 months and we have received nothing. I challenge Reliance to prove that ONE customer has received this refund in the 6 month timeframe.
2nd issue
- The house has been a little dry this winter, we call Reliance to come in and check the furnace/humidifier. The "trusted advisor" tech shows up and informs us that there is NO humidifier installed on the new furnace... Check the invoice....sure enough we have been charged for the humidifier, it's just NOT there.
"Trusty Advisor" says nothing he can do, you have to call the office.
Now the 3rd issue
- calling the office brings us to a new level of deplorable customer service making us feel that it was our fault the humidifier was not installed. They make an appointment for the service crew to show up on Dec 23 between 8am-10am.....To no ones surprise....NO SERVICE crew showed for the "appointment". Further calls to Reliance have been answered with the customer service standard "we will look into it and get back to you"........ Still waiting for the call back
So, there you go......3 issues.......there are more, but I'm getting bored.
The company motto
"We're not comfortable until you are"
WE WILL SEE if they stand by their motto or if they are just another big company screwing the little guy.
Satisfied with the company....ZERO..... the company charges for items they don't deliver and with the level of customer service, I think Reliance earns that rating.

YOUR RESPONSE IS obviously an to attempt to show anyone who reads my review that Reliance does care about the customer. WELL, I posted my review on December 31st/2014 directly after posting my review I emailed a copy of the review along with my contact information to your email address. I find it interesting that you have taken the time to respond to the review(looks good for the company) but I HAVE HEARD NOTHING FROM YOU in regard to the email I sent.
