DDk Roofing was recommended to me by a friend who had previously had his cottage done and he was very pleased. I found both Dean and Andre very easy to deal with. They were very knowledgeable and thorough in explaining the options and process. I was most impressed with the completed project and they left my property immaculate. DDK Roofing & Renovations, what a great team. We just had our roof re-shingled, old one was in worse shape than we thought and only 15 years old. First, shout out to Andre the salesperson of the team. He was so professional and experienced in this field. He was the first up on the ladder and climbed on the roof to give a close-up and thorough inspection. Although we were hoping that we could just have some areas repaired, it was in worse off than we thought, and a full roof shingle job was required. He provided pictures to show how bad the roof really was and pointed out areas that were not properly done on the original installation. Next step was Dean owner of DDK Roofing, he himself and his team showed up to put on the new roof. The entire crew was extremely polite, informative and hard working. There was never any talk of shingling over the existing roof, everything was removed, and all new shingles installed. No short cuts were taken. We have a bungalow and a huge roof area to complete. This was done in 2 days, thank you Dean and your crew, they did a great job roofing my home. You and your crew were professional, courteous and had a general concern for my satisfaction that far exceeded my expectations. I appreciated the cleanup that was done at the end of each day. It just reinforced the fact that DDK Roofing wanted me to be happy. You can be sure that Jim and I will recommend DDK Roofing to everyone we know.
In our previous home we had to replace the roof and my experience with that job and this one done by Dean and his team was by far a better experience and quality. Dean has been doing this for a long time, and his quality of workmanship shows. A neighbor recently brought to our attention the fact that our shingles were worn and curling on the side of our home. The roof that we had was supposed to last for 20 years, so this came as a surprise to us being about 14 years old. We had just completed renovations in the house and were also impacted by a recent employment issue. Nevertheless, this had to be tended to. I called around and had difficulty getting a hold of people and was quoted pricing that would put us in a financial bind and met a few people that made me feel uneasy, That is until I called DDK Roofing. Dean, the owner, came out himself. He was polite, and knowledgeable. He gave us many options, and told us that the section of the roof that was weathered was due to its southern exposure. He could easily match up the shingles and replace two sections of the roof, looking seamless and reducing the cost of the repair. I cannot tell you how relieved we were! This option relieved the burden of the unexpected expense and looks great. Dean also went over the areas that he didn't replace and caulked the flashing and repaired a few shingles that needed attention. Thank you Dean for listening to our needs, being so honest and thinking outside of the box! You and your crew were so courteous and respectful. You will be back to do the other two sides and I will recommend you to anyone in need of such services!
