Dear John, Regi, Aldo and the whole team: Alstan and I would like to thank everyone at Backyard Getaways for making our dream come true. Our dream was not as simple as we thought. It was obstructed by a very large and menacing slope and drainage gulley. All of the qualified companies we contacted for quotes and advice, took a look, smiled, and retreated just as quickly as they came. It was “we can’t do this”, “you can’t put a pool there”, or “you’ll have to put the pool 4ft from the house and avoid the gulley and slope” or face the wrath of a huge price tag and a long drawn out process with the City. Along came John from Backyard Getaways. We told him what we wanted, and he took a look, paused and then turned to us, smiled and said “We can do this”. From that moment, I knew we were dealing with the right people. From start to finish, John and the team listened to what we wanted, drew up a plan all the while staying within a rather modest budget for the task at hand. From the initial drawings, to final plans and quotes, everything was handled with complete professionalism, and in a timely manner. Every aspect of the construction was completed with care and quality workmanship. The crews would even stay a half hour every night to ensure our driveway and street, were completely clear of any dirt, stone or other debris. We couldn’t believe that the guys, who had just worked 10 or more hours in the blazing heat, would take the time to smile, say hello, and still clean up!!! One of the crew even took the time to thank our daughter for a picture she drew him, taped it up in his dump truck and drove around with it the entire time so she could see it everyday! Who does that nowadays? Once the pool and landscape was complete, we received precise instructions of running the pool, and what type of things we would need to maintain our salt water bliss. Anytime we have a question, they are just a phone call away, and always willing to help. We recommend Backyard Getaways to anyone looking to fulfill their dreams. No matter how big or small, they will find a way to make it possible. This company delivers, and we wouldn’t change one moment of our experience. We had the group at Backyard Getaways redo our backyard and add a pool ... very pleased with the quality of the work, they did exactly what we wanted. Did take alittle longer then we had thought, but we also had alot of rain which slows things done. Group was very friendly and very responsive. We choose Backyard Getaways after getting a number of quotes from big name pool installers, we choose them as they where the only ones who listened to us and did it the way we wanted. We had Backyard Getaways install our Inground Saltwater pool and do Decorative Concrete work for us. I had interviewed several companies before booking anyone, and from the moment I met John, the search was over! He kept our appointment on time, he offered suggestions, made recommendations, and was very upfront about costs. Then his brother Regi, took over on the job site and had a fantastic crew of guys there everyday. They kept our project on budget and earlier than scheduled - a bet you don't hear that everyday! Our finished product is awesome, from the custom saltwater pool, to the iron safety fence, cabana and almost 1500 square feet of beautiful decorative concrete! These guys care about what they do and who they do work for. I have since recommended Backyard Getaways to everyone I can, and several have now had the pleasure of working with this company. We are moving again soon, and can't wait to have Backyard Getaways create our new beautiful backyard at the new house! Bottom line is, you will not get a more fair and accurate quote, a more professional crew of guys, and a higher quality of customer service - before, during and after the project is done! This has been a wonderful experience for Trisha and I. and looking back at everything we are glad that we made the decision that we made. Everything from Aldo and the gang to Regi and his crew was perfect. I’ll be honest, going back 5 weeks and seeing Aldo on that little excavator made us nervous. We never though the dig would end but now we are in this wonderful pool and everything is great. Decorative concrete also did an absolutely stunning job. Took a little longer than I expected but the finish is beautiful. There is not one person that walks by that does not stop and comment.I wish they could see the backyard !! Thank you again

John and the entire Team at Backyard Getaways are a class act. From concept, to planning, to installation of our FOX pool and Zodiac equipment, they were flawless! Not only are these guys experienced, organized, professional, qualified and talented - they're just a great group of people to work with all around. It was a pleasure to have them on site to build my own pool! I'd recommend Backyard Getaways to anyone considering a pool or landscaping project in a heartbeat.
