    Jia Jia Moving helped move items from a garage to another location. Team was very punctual, courteous, fast and handled the items nicely even helping move other items as requested. Recommended.

    Condo Move to House

    After searching out many companies and getting many quotes, Jia Jia Moving provided what we thought to be the best option for our move from a 2-Bedroom condo into a dethatched home, and we were not disappointed. At the time of our move, they offered free large and small boxes (picked up weeks ahead and used it for some pre-move and for all the packing / boxing needs on the day of the move) and waived rental of the wardrobe boxes (day of) which all came in super handy for the move. On the day of the move, the 3 movers showed up right on time and after a brief survey of what needs to be moved, they got to work right away. They were efficient and professional. The lead person was always upfront and told us ahead of time if there are potential issues and would help us make the proper decision, and/or will make sure we are okay with the potential risks based on the choices we made (This mostly pertained to the fact that some of our furniture were a bit large for the condo so the move was a bit difficult. They did their best on all the items and in spite of the sizing difficulties, they were able to make everything work and caused no damages. They offered assembling and disassembling services, and all non-boxed items were carefully wrapped / padded as needed. Arrival at the house location and unloading was also smooth and knowing that we had some new renos done, they were very conscience to not cause any damages to the walls / furniture. Overall, it was a very professional and timely move. The amount of time that took came just under what I had thought would take and budgeted for. There were some extra charges for stairs / elevators, but it was minimal considering how much was done. I wanted movers that tells you exactly what they thought with no sugar coating, and were blunt and straight forward and simply get the job done properly. I didn't care for any "reassurance" or "fluff" or movers that will stop and "have a nice chat" with you and that's exactly what I got from jia jia. They were friendly, but most importantly they focused and got the job done. So they were great for me. I don't plan to move again, but if I do, I wouldn't hesitate using them again!

    House Move

    I requested Jia Jia to provide moving services within 2 wks of the actual move dates. The co-ordinators were very responsive and provided detailed quotes for the services that were requested. On the date of the move, the 3 movers were efficient and very courteous. The move was very smooth and we would definitely use them again in the future.

    Disappointed in Lack of Responsibility

    This is the second time I am using this company for a move. The first time was flawless. The second time, well that was this July 2021 and this was a different story. I was overall Ok with the move despite it being very rushed and all my items were just dumped in the garage and front foyer of the new house. A few days later I noticed that my massage chair was broken. When I took pictures and emailed them explaining that this was a new chair for my disabled mother and I really needed someone to fix this their response was go through the warranty that you bought your chair from they should cover at a reduced rate and they will give me a $100 ESSO gift card instead. I am furious. I get mistakes and accidents happen, but for you to not take accountability for your mistakes is what makes you different from a reputable company and just another money making organization. In my last email yesterday, I have given them another chance to make this right and to come fix this. I will update this with their response. Please be warned before booking this company.

    DO NOT USE - DAMAGE TO HOME

    Do not hire at any costs. I used Jia Jia to move my items into a new apartment. While the two movers were moving my couch into the condo, they set it on the ground and applied brute force on the couch to slide it up against the wall. As a result, they left a severe scratch on my brand new hardwood floors. When I confronted the mover about the damage, he looked at it and didn't say anything. I then called their Customer Service line right away, and was told to make a claim to the claims department - fine. After doing so, the claims department was not remorseful at all, nor did they take any accountability to fix the situation. They proceeded to accuse me of fabricating the story, saying I made it up - when I had photos to prove it. I also saw it happen with my own eyes. The couch should not have been slid across the floor in any case, but picked up and placed down. That's why we hire movers. After accusing me of being dishonest, they offered me a $50 Esso Card... I asked at least for reimbursement so I could fix the damage myself (ie: with a floor marker, wax, etc), and they refused. An Esso card does not rectify the damage. They are dishonest, unprofessional, and will ruin your items. If you want good service, take your business elsewhere.

I would like to share few facts to put things in perspective. 1) we have never said you fabricated the story. There were many photos provided by you, we merely examed photos and explained what we observed 2) the damage on the floor was caused by a protruding screw on the bottom of the sofa leg which you acknowledged. A pre-existing condition nobody knew about. 3) The scratch is about 1.5 inches long, only from the protruding screw, no other scratches were found from any other legs of the sofa. This damage doesn't consist with damages caused by “slide sofa across the floor” 4) The $50 Esso gift card is to cover the cost of a quick floor fix kit.

    Jia Jian provides quality service

    I have used Jia Jia before and I am very satisfied with their service. This time, we have a medium truck and 3 movers (If you are moving in or out of the condo, I suggest have 3 mover, because there may be a distance from the elevator to the loading area. 3 people can easily manage work.) The movers are professional and helpful. They carefully reassembled the furniture and covered them with blankets. After arriving at the destination, they installed the furniture in a short time. I am surprised that they work so fast. They are awesome, super-efficient. I would recommend Jia Jia to anyone who looks for moving company.

    Moving packed boxes only

    i booked for 2 hours transportation with two movers but job was less it finished in one hour and work done satisfactorily but it cost bit more than its worth, movers was good no issue.

    Professional and transparent dealing

    No non sense moving, very professional and transparent dealing. Have used them always with our moving needs. With all the moving horror stories you hear about, good to have someone efficient and reliable in the city. Great work guys!

    Couldn't be happier

    We had a medium-sized truck and 2 movers when we moved out of our 2 bedroom house. We needed every inch of the truck to make it work and the movers did an outstanding job of squeezing everything in, without leaving a scratch on the furniture or the house. They took furniture apart, had to go down a narrow and steep set of stairs and did it all in 30+ degree heat...and always with a smile on their faces. I would recommend Jia Jia to anyone looking to make a move.
