    New Replacement Sewerage System

    ANTA PLUMBING ANTA Recently completed a new sewer system for our property Unfortunately for us our driveway was deep and almost 90 feet in length to the main sewer I chose ANTA for several reasons - There was price was the best and the installation was thorough. There Project Manager was first class in explaining in all detail what needed to be done and why. The Crew were fantastic - always on time and very diligent workers. There is a 25 year warranty also The Project went of as planned and on time without incident. They even returned a couple of time to do patching without complaint due to heavy rains causing a couple of sink holes Conclusion - If you want this type of work done I can only say ANTA is the Company to choose Very Respectfully David Martin

    Plumbing Service

    Two plumbers from Anta Plumbing came to perform some plumbing repairs. The service they provided was excellent. Richard is very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. They exceeded my expectations, got the job done in less than 30 minutes and were on their way. I must say I was very impressed and will definitely use Anta Plumbing again in the future. Keep up the good work and professionalism!

    Leak under my kitchen sink

    I called out Anta plumbing because I had a leak understand my kitchen sink. Vasyl was the technical that showed up at my door. He was right on time when the office told me that he was going to be there. He found the problem right away and fixed the issue on the spot. Gave me some tips on other typical plumbing that might happen in the future and what to look and do to prevent them (to a point). I will definitely recommend Anta to all my friends. Helpful technicians and helpful people at the office. Thank you.

    Sump Pump

    Do not use Anta! I had a sump pump replaced in Dec, 2013. The cost was not cheap at $ 1130 but was assured by the plumber that it was a high quality Liberty sump pump that Anta would stand behind (warranty is 3 years) . In August , 2015 the pump would not turn on. As this is a piggy back outlet pump, I plugged the pump in by itself and the pump came on. The problem, as confirmed by Liberty, was that the there was a problem with the switch. When the plumber from Anta arrived, I explained the problem, and without even checking any further, he indicated that I required a sump pump maintenance service and this would cost $ 400. I couldn't believe it. This is a sump pump in a laundry room (with no waste) just water going into it. How could a pump in those circumstances require a maintenance service, particularly one that was only a 1 1/2 years old. When I spoke with Liberty they couldn't believe it either. Anta had no intention of standing behind the pump they installed. They had no knowledge of the 3 year warranty the pump came with, and in fact, the plumber Yuri said we don't manufacture the pumps so it isn't our problem. Hard to believe. I told Yuri to leave. I called Anta again to express my displeasure and they promised to call me back. They never did. Called again and they promised to get back to me and never did. Another plumber determined that the switch needed to be replaced (as indicated by Liberty). No service maintenance was required as the pit was clean. I have never written a review before but in the circumstances felt compelled to do so. These folks depend and prey on the ignorance of their customers. They have no intention of standing behind their work. Their website indicated that 100 % customer satisfaction is what they are dedicated to. Really? They could have easily resolved my problem and had a satisfied customer (who had paid $1130 for a pump 1 1/2 years ago) who had been assured that Anta would stand behind their work. Instead they tried to perform an unnecessary service ( for $ 400) and not address the actual problem. Shame on them.

    Hi David! Thank you for your feedback. When you called the office and explained the situation, you were advised that the problem was not with the pump but with the switch. The plumber arrived on site, and asked you "when was the last time you have had maintenance done for your pump?" - ejector pumps require maintenance every year to clear debris such as the lint, toilet paper or socks that fall by accident. The pump you have is an EJECTOR PUMP not submersible pump, just to make sure that is clear. The technician left the site without checking because he felt offended. He was being called really bad words such as zoo, etc, So he felt that he could not be at the property where he could not even explain or check anything. Sorry that you were not having a good day. We all have those bad days sometimes and we believe that cooperation will bring better results then offence and swearing. Plumbers are people too and shouldn't be spoken to in an unpleasant manner, by swearing and screaming at them, It was the technicians decision to leave the house, and we cannot punish him for doing so in this situation. We hope that by writing this review you will get more information and explanation. The internet is a good source to get information for your needs and worries. Also, the internet can bring forth real situations, for others to see and make aware. We are happy that you were able to have your pump working but the only issue that needs repair is the switch. I hope you have a great week and I will pass on the apology to the plumber that he deserves. If you decide to get the plumber to take chance to look at the switch let us know, we are open to service you.

    Basement Rough in and Bathroom shower Install

    They did a good job and I would recommend them for someone looking to have a bathroom rough in put in their basement. They were helpful and answered my questions.

    Drain clog

    Our shower drain had a clog and resulted in a very slow drain. We tried using drano first but that seemed to make the problem worse as the drainage became very slow where the water would pool and stand for an extended period of time, about 45 mins. Because the water pooled for so long it ended up somehow finding its way between the connection from the drain and the shower pan and leaked through to the ceiling on the first floor. Called Anta and they scheduled an appointment promptly. Richard Cho-Kee was our plumber and he was very professional and was able to snake the drain to get the drain flowing again. We plan to reno the bathroom in the next 2-3 yrs, so hopefully that does the trick and buys us time until then. Richard was very knowledgeable and gave us such other tips and tricks to deal with smaller plumbing issues which we very much appreciated. He was about 20-25 mins late than the scheduled appointment because he stopped at the supplier get what he thought he might need for our job (turned out he didn't need it). However, the office called me to advise me that he would be late, which I liked. Definitely will use them again, even to be the plumber for our bathroom renovation.

The drain products that are sold on the market are not always the best solution to clearing up clogs and "yes" sometimes they even make the situation worse. But once you buy it, you cannot take it back :( which really is not satisfying.     Bathroom sink faucet repair

    It was easy to get through to the company and the response time was good. Richard was on time and I was very satified with his work. He knows his work well and completed the job very quickly.

    Kitchen faucet/pipes

    On time, efficient. Job was completed quickly and cleanly. I called on Canada Day but they did not charge extra because of the holiday. Tech was very polite and respectful. While I found a discrepancy in the quote, after informing Head Office, the company has generously offered to reimburse me. They want happy customers. You can't ask for better than that.

    Replaced main shutoff valve to home plus other taps and shut offs in home

    Edi had to come back once the city fixed the street shut off to our house. This was after he came for the original quotation. He was efficient, quick and performed every task on our long list. Good job.

    Bathroom Reno

    We were very impressed with the level of service and professionalism with AnTa Plumbing. We had a number of issues left to us from the previous home owner that Eddy (sp? - hope I got that right) was able to help us out with in addition to the regular plumbing needs of renovating a new bathroom. He was knowledgeable, friendly and professional and always took time to explain what he was doing and why. Maybe the most important reason I will always use AnTa in the future is that they are VERY RELIABLE - they come when they say they're going to come and work until the job is completely done. I highly recommend AnTa and Eddy.
