Dear Michael! We at Anta Plumbing would like to thank you for been absolutely the greatest customer, very friendly and very patient. Our jobs take long time to finish up and it is very hard to keep energy and great mood on a job site with no customer's support! Our guys every day were reporting the conditions of the project with commence that our client is so kind to them and patient. To make underground installation smooth we need to analyze the soil conditions, right equipment to use for this case specially and choose right techs to make perfect installation and on the same time right match with our clients. Bohdan is very shy technician, he can be quiet for hours and just work non stop, Sergei is vey strong (he has Olympic games behind his life experience). Technicians are very experienced with tones of different problems solved in the past. At night all our technicians are coming back to the office to take a shower and have a chat with supervisors and other crews to share the situations and difficulties they dealing with at the moment. We were all very concentrated at your project, even office, to coordinate utility cable locates, right time for Inspector's visits, additional attention to the CCTV inspection for the crew to make proper decision how to pull the new pipe underground and on the same time to not disturb any extra soil to keep landscaping as is (we know how expensive to make great landscaping and how many year it takes to grow perfect grass). Water service is very popular service last couple years when people would like to upgrade the pipe to copper or increase the size to get more water to the house to use on the same time in a kitchen and in a shower with no yelling to householders:) City is running program now to switch lead pipes to copper and it make huge difference for them when private side is already a new pipe and not old and rusty lead pipe. Thank you Walter for your patience and appreciation. To work with kitchen drain pipes is getting more and more difficult. We still forget that all the oily products form our frying pans and pots are not the best friends to keep the lines clean and dry. Our strong recommendations - have paper towel beside the sink to absorb the oil first and ONLY after this proceed to dishwasher machine or hand washing stage. Sometimes as it happened with your house pipe was fully blocked by solid fat. Neither snake nor power flush were able to break the blockage. We did not have any other options as to cut the pipe and remove the portion of it. I wish to have an option to attach the picture to this feedback for you to see how the pipe looks inside after we cut it out. Feels like calcium, smells like sewer and no discharge space. I cant thank you enough for leaving this exceptional review. Eddy, you are right! it is very hard to find good customer service these days. A lot of customer service reps seem like they do not want to serve customers. Because of this, businesses tend to lose customers. The customers do not feel that great enjoyment factor when conversing with that particular customer service rep. But at Anta plumbing we try our best to provide great customer service to our customers. It is also very important to be on time, it shows the customer, that the company is committed to the job as well as professional. But on the contrary even when the technician is running a bit behind it is good to have that certainty that the company still has you in mind and that your not forgotten. It feels good when a company takes that extra time to make sure your taken care of and that a call is made advising you of the delay. We love when our technicians are knowledgeable and know what they are doing. Water hammer commonly occurs when a valve closes suddenly at an end of a pipeline system, and a pressure wave multiplies within the pipe. It is also called hydraulic shock. This can cause major problems such as the banging pipes you were experiencing as a result of vibrations which can also result in pipes collapsing.
