We added an in-sink water purifier early on during the Covid lockdown as we were tired of filling up Brita pitchers all day. Justin D was our service tech this time and was polite, professional, and cleaned up afterwards. Excellent service once again from the Watermart team.

We found Watermart on Homestars when looking to install a whole-home water purifier. Through The whole process Donna was informative, helpful, and never tried to upsell. After an initial visit, we determined the whole-home option would be complicated given our finished basement and decided to go with a reverse osmosis purifier in the kitchen. Our installer Zia was timely, professional, and took the time to explain in detail the system. He even replaced the flex line to our main faucet as the seals had degraded over time. Fantastic service and fantastic result.

I found Straight Up Masonry on HomeStars and reached out to them about our front steps. The mortar had cracked, and the steps were "floating". From initial appraisal to work completion, I could not be more pleased. The assessment and work was done while I was at work. In fact, I never met the team, but the finished product speaks for itself. What was once an eyesore and safety issue is now a beautiful front steps again. Many thanks as the whole process could not have been easier.

This was the second, and third, time that Gas Guys have saved the day. I noticed a strong smell of gas in our back yard coming from our generator line and was red tagged by Enbridge. George came out quickly and determined we must have a leak underground in the line. He installed a new, super heavy duty line underground and even found a smaller leak near the generator. Work was done quickly and thoroughly as always. Fast forward one week, and I am now paranoid about leaks. I noticed a slight odor near a joint in our water heater. George came out the same day I contacted him and fixed the problem. I can't say enough positive things about his work, professionalism and knowledge.

I sent Jeff a message on a Sunday, and he was out to inspect one of our gas fireplaces the following Tuesday. Very professional, courteous and knowledgeable. He replaced a bad part, cleaned our unit, and even added decorative embers which were "missed" by the builder. All around a great experience, and I highly recommend Jeff for your gas fireplace needs.

When neighbors of our put in a heated driveway we thought they were being a bit extreme until we walked out last winter and saw a clean and clear driveway of theirs while ours was a mound of deep snow. Fast forward almost a year and we decided to take the plunge. Hotwire Electric had installed our generator a couple years ago, and we were so pleased with their service we engaged them to install all the electric runs for our driveway heating. They were in and out in a couple days. In fact I didn't even see them. With last night's snowfall, I was a bit nervous when I saw a covered driveway in the evening but woke to a clear one in the morning. By the end of the day, our driveway was nearly completely dry! My lower back thanks you. Another great job and positive addition to our home!

Fantastic service! I e-mailed George on Friday to say my bbq would be setup on Saturday. He was able to swing by Saturday late afternoon and install the line for us. Fast, efficient and even gave me a few pointers on how to run and clean our new Napoleon Pro. After a five week delay in getting our rear patio extended, it was refreshing to have this done so quickly. Many thanks George!

I've been looking to clean up the mess of wires with our home theater and video games for some time. Having installed and set up my own electronics for 25 years, I felt I was up to the task but thought better of it and brought in a professional. I found Dale @ High Definition Installations on Homestars and dropped him a line. He was very polite, professional, and patient with my many questions. We ended up deciding on having the TV mounted, cables run through an exterior channel to avoid drilling and fishing in a finished basement, and electronics stored in a separate rack. Dale was spot on time in his arrival and finished up everything much quicker than i thought. He even set up a new power supply behind the TV and ran the HDMI behind the wall for a clean look. The cable channel is barely discernible against the molding, and the rack (at 7') is impressive. We are highly pleased with the outcome. Our home theater set up now looks truly professional, even if most if the time it is used for XBox or Wii. We will be calling Dale again when we upsize the TV and mount a new one in our bedroom. Fantastic, professional, and courteous work all the way around.

Ccs was brought in as a subcontractor to repair drywall holes made during the installation of our home generator. We could not have been more happy with the results. The crew was on time and very professional, a courteous I appreciate as my wife and young daughter were home during the repair. After completed, you can't even notice that there were any holes to begin with. Fantastic job, and Ccs is on speed dial for any needs we may have in the future.

After a few days without power this winter and young children at home, we decided to take the plunge and install a full-home generator. Our main concern was keeping the house running during power outages, especially the furnace and sump pump. After reading positive reviews and studying up on Hotwire Electric, we decided to have them come over and give us an assessment. The job was complicated as our lot is narrow, our gas line enters at the front of the house, and we have had repeated issues with a neighbor that required the gas line run through the house. Further complicating this is a finished basement and fuse box in the garage. As we wanted the unit in the backyard, a lot of cable needed to be run and holes run through the basement and the front/rear of the house. Oris Taylor came to do the assessment and was extremely professional and understanding of our needs. While the quote was higher than we had originally thought, it included full drywall repair, gas lines, and trenching through the frozen February ground. Oris and his crew showed up on time and ready to go for what turned out to be a three-day install with gas lines. Oris and Mike were fantastic at keeping the crew moving on schedule and respecting our house and property. The drywall sub-contractor was fantastic, and you can't even tell that anything was changed in the basement. We couldn't be happier and will be prepared for the next, inevitable outage.

We've had a few hits and misses using HomeStars, but Steven and his team knocked it out of the park. Their attention to detail is top notch. They were able to construct the built-ins around our existing mantle with an end result which looks like it is a single unit. On top of that, they were completed weeks in advance of the timeframe discussed at our initial consultation. We could not be happier and would wholeheartedly recommend Steven and his team at Black Forest Woodworking and will definitely use them again in the future.

I called and booked an appointment for the following day. The driver called to say they were stuck in traffic but were still well within the time window. Paul and Josh did a fantastic job packing everything up and came in under the quote after seeing our items. We are repeat customers and will happily use them again.

We are slowly making a few changes to our new house and decided to better secure our side doors. We found Eagle Doors & Locksmith on Homestars, spoke to George on Christmas Eve and had the Torrsec reinforcement system installed on three exterior doors a mere four days later. George and his crew showed up on time and spent most of the day installing the door reinforcements (which he designed) to make sure everything was exactly as we wanted. We could not be happier with the end result and would highly recommend George and his team. After a few misfires with our original locksmith, we could not be happier with the quality of work and attention to detail Eagle Doors & Locksmith brought to our job. Our beautiful new home was plagued with an odor coming from the floor drain in our laundry room. After trying a few remedies on our own we found WaterWorks on Homestars. Fast forward to today when Michael came to investigate our problem. Fortunately there was not anything major wrong and things cleared up after he flushed our pipe a few times. He also went above and beyond in recommending ways we could prevent this from happening again and took a look at our water main in to the house as we were having some water pressure issues.
