Convertible once again was a pleasure to work with. It was easy to set up an appointment for the annual inspection of my gas-fired appliances to ensure that they are in good working condition and guard against potential carbon monoxide leaks. The technician, Tahir, who had serviced and installed for me in the past, arrived on time and inspected the appliances. In addition to the inspection and maintenance, for each one he gave me some helpful tips that I appreciate: - Fireplace - Showed me how the battery replacement under the unit is awkward and what to watch out for when doing so. - Stove and oven - Pointed out that there are no safeties when turning the dials so gas will continue to come out if the ignition point is passed. He also advised me that carbon monoxide can have subtle, long-term effects so it's important to always have range fan on when using the stove or oven and ensure that the filter is clean. - Hot water tank - Noticed that the water is very hot so he showed me how to turn it down. - Furnace - Reminded me to get a new filter since a full filter can damage the DC motor. Thanks for your work and care!

Alex and his team were very responsive with all of my questions from day one. I appreciated their thorough cleaning job and I will hire them again in the future when I need house cleaning help again.

When I got home from work last Friday evening, I realized that the AC wasn't working. I called Convertible (since they had previously installed a new water heater for me) and they said they could send a technician in the morning. The technician arrived promptly and told me that my blower fan was broken and a replacement would cost $1500-$2000. He recommended installing a new furnace since the current furnace was over 15 years old. I agreed to learn more and a salesman was over a few hours later and said he could have a new one installed Monday morning. After doing some more research over the weekend and asking the salesman some more questions, I decided to go with the new furnace. The installers showed up a little before 9 am and completed their work by around 1:30 pm. They answered all of my questions about maintenance and features. I would happily recommend Convertible Air and I would call them again for future issues.

I was pleased with Richard's work last year so I asked him to come back to do my furnace maintenance today. Richard also did a carbon monoxide check for my hot water tank, my gas stove and oven. Richard is very knowledgeable, friendly, and trustworthy. I recommend him to others.

Richard is upfront and listens which are traits that I value tremendously. When I called Richard, I told him that I already had an AC technician in to diagnose my AC unit. The diagnosis was that there was a coolant leak (the inside of the furnace/AC was turning into a block of ice instead of cooling the house) and the technician's solution was to flush the system, fill it with nitrogen to find the leak(s) and then recharge the system with coolant. It was described that this would be an arduous process that would cost $800 to $1200. Alternatively, I could buy a new system for about $3000. Both of these options seemed too costly so I was looking for a second opinion. Richard said that the proposed solution was overdoing it and he said that he would examine the system for the most common leak points based on his many years of experience, address them and then recharge the system with coolant. He found the leak right away, dealt with it and recharged the system and this cost me about $350. Richard also increased the fan speed because the upper level of the house wasn't cooling very well. I am pleased to say that the house now reaches the set temperature quickly throughout the house. Thank you Richard.

Atiar was quick to follow-up even after a few back-forth emails and phone calls and he came on the weekend to repair our fridge. The fridge wasn't cooling, but the freezer was staying frozen. A couple of months earlier we unplugged the fridge and and let it thaw out. That fixed the problem for a little while, but then the fridge section started warming up again. Atiar opened up the freezer section and replaced the thermostat and replaced the circuit board in the fridge section. So far everything is working well. I appreciated Atiar's ability and patience to explain the issue to me.

My father-in-law recommended Supreme Windows to me because he had a very good experience with them. We were not disappointed. Our 1975 house had 12 original windows and a patio door that we had Supreme Windows replace. They were very thorough and finished the job is less than two days. The staff are a pleasure to work with and they make sure to do a walk through inspection with you afterward to make sure you're satisfied.

This is the second time (at a different house) that I have called in the Duct Cleaning Specialists because I was so happy with their service, thoroughness, cleanliness, friendliness, and trustworthiness. It's rare to find a contractor that so clearly wants to do their best for their customer. I get the sense that Paul treats all of his jobs as if they were at his own house. I checked out The Duct Cleaning Specialists' website and liked how they are very upfront about costs, having the right equipment, and even taking off their shoes when working in the home. Paul showed up on time today, showed me what he was going to do and then did it all in a very professional and friendly manner. He also gave me a discount on a sanitation because the job went quickly. Plus, he took off $50 with the October promotion, $10 off for booking online, and gave me a $50 Home Depot gift certificate. Giving the customer a reason to smile is definitely the key to his business. I might even win a PlayStation 3 in their regular draw... something I have been thinking about getting lately...
