dishwasher

i bought a dishwasher from the brick in 08 with extented warrenty which i was told it had in home service,all good.2011 dishwasher not cleaning glasses so i look at dishwasher and me lil ol me new what was wrong with this unit.The inlet rubber for top rack was cracked and pieces missing so top rack was not sitting in the inlet properly and not sealing water pressure to spin upper arm thus not cleaning the inside of glasses or anything in top rack.The soap dispencer would not empty completly and it was all cruded around it and on its way down to bottom of dishwasher with soap residue(its stainless inside it should be clean inside)it was so obviuos.
This is where it gets good,i phone 800 360 2742 explain what wrong they say we will get back to you,2 days go by nothing so i phone again it took her an other day to get back,then she tell me im to far out of winnipeg to send Technician(technician ya rite)she Says i have to bring it in.Ok no problem.I bring it in 1065 St james ST WPG MB.I try to explain what wrong to person at service desk and he can't fig what code to use for work order and he just used code 052100 not cleaning completely and that how they gave that to TranGloble.Mar 21 i get a phone call NOT from someone working there but it's an answering machine telling me my dishwasher is ready for pick up(thats BS)Ok on the 22 i go there to pick it up and all this is 200 kms a trip,i get ther look at work order an it says 055000 no fault and i said your wrong and proceeded to explain to Dave from Transgloble what was wrong and of course John the tech not here that day so dave said he would take it back and re do a work order.
I phoned Kim from transgloble on the 22nd and tell her about them not fixing dish washer she say oooh yes i will look after you and monitor this issue closely and asked for my phone # and may be the tech could phone me and ask me lil ol me what is wrong.I don't hear from her till march 29 only because i phoned and she said i will email tech and i said no more emailing tech i want to speak to manager.Here come Meagan the manager, she says i will talk to John the tech.2hours later i get a phone call from John himself and says "Whats wrong with you dishwasher".lol i had to explain to tech what was wrong.30 minutes later he phones me back and tells me my dishwasher ready to picked up he said they changed that rubber seal and put a new rack in.18 days and three trips in WPG 600 kms later i got my dishwasher BUT now because i bought extented warrenty i want to get re embursed for my gas to bring this diswasher in WPG which was suppose to be in home service wich they dont ask because they just want that 150 dollars.So since March 29 i talk to Kim at 2pm and she said she would get back with info on this issue and NOTHING. i have phone evry day for her and they keep giving me excuses so i have been trying to phone the manager Meagan and getting same run around from recieptionist either tere away or at lunch or not in. and toady its the 31 and nothing.i phone today got same deal from new girl(cant remember her name} that answered but she said she would get back to me this was at 3pm Edmonton time
its one thing the tech could not fix unless i told him how to fix it its all the phone BS,with customer service nobody wants to talk to me.
Never been jerked around like this
will try to keep you posted on this poor customer service from Transglobale

46" Samsung LCD

I was a very loyal Brick customer over the past decade and have enjoyed continued happiness with all of my purchases from furniture and bedding to appliances and electronics, but I have hit a road block with Trans Global recently that is quickly changing my opinion of the Brick as a whole.

Despite my efforts to be very patient and understanding with your policies and procedures (which I fully respect), I'm losing patience quickly.

I have a 46" Samsung TV that has been acting up for a number of months. I will give a brief description and exact dates and work order numbers. Over the past three months I have had a tech out to my home four times for this TV, meaning four times someone in my home has had to miss work hours on four separate occasions. Of those four visits, two of them involved repair. After the two repairs were done the TV still had three independent, intermittent, problems at different times.

Now the TV was picked up on Saturday Feb 12 and I was told I would have an answer by Monday or Tuesday morning at the latest and was offered a "loaner". First, one of the drivers that came to my house tracked snow and slush through my living room with no regard despite being told by the second driver to "respect the mans home". Upon opening the "loaner" I found that it was obsolete with no HDMI capability and knowing that I would have my TV by Tuesday I asked that they remove the relic as it was useless to me as it was near the same size as my "Brick" fireplace stand and I was not about to rerun all of my components for three or four days.

Both my wife and I have been in contact with Trans global almost daily this week as I still do not have an answer. This afternoon my wife was contacted by Charissa at Trans global and told that the TV still had not even been looked at.

I am aware of the lemon clause and am asking that someone please provide this service to me as this is growing to be a problem bigger than the value of the unit.

Between the cost of the TV, the warranty and the time loss from work, this is costing me twice over, which isn't over yet as it still needs to be brought back to me..

For you "The Brick", it has already resulted in five trips to my house, two repairs, the unknown results from the tests we've been waiting on all week... and the possibility of an additional trip back to my house to bring the TV back... it really must be pushing the labor / travel / parts costs to near the value of this unit.

Bought T.v on Oct.14/2010. It was broken with in the first month of having it.The brick took to long to respond so it had to go to manufactur's warranty. The T.v has had two in home service calls 4 parts and has been in Trans globals shop for two months.Noone will return your calls at Trans Global and yes the managers are not truthful about returning your calls and knowing what is going on.I reported Trans Global to the better business bureau.

Dishwasher repair

Transglobal is a joke,don't care about the customer or the product,send people to fix things that aren't qualified to even work on a lawn rake. Good luck getting them to call you back. Do not use them ask for another company to service you. They should all be fired!!!

moving in new condo

i moved in this new condo and on dec 12 my washer from Whirlpool broke down, the macine was checked by service technician from Transglobal on nov 15th who told me that the parts need to be ordered (Work order number 2241106). Today is dec 9th and they promised me the parts would arrive on dec 6th. I called them every day from dec 6th and they don't even know when will it arrive. They promised me that if we do not receive parts they will replace my machine with a new one. Well, that was not true. I am now calling Whirlpool now to see if they can fix the issue with their unethical service provider. I think both Whirlpool and their warranty service providers are not honest because they do not honor their warranty. My advice as a customer? Don't buy their product. First they are not good quality since my machine broke down in first 3 months and second their service provider is very UNETHICAL and will make you wait for the parts for ever. Both of these companies are involved with unethical practices with respect to their warranty and I am thinking of taking them to court. Both companies are dishonest.

Stackable Washer/Dryer

I moved into a new condo which included a stackable washer/dryer. From day 1, the washer didn't work properly since the start button kept getting stuck behind the panel so I can't select different cycles or wash temperatures. I called TransGlobal since the warranty was with them. A technician called me and scheduled an appointment to come and look at the problem. The day of my appointment the technician called to say he was extremely busy so would I mind describing the problem over the phone. Based on that he diagnosed the problem and ordered the parts. A month later the parts arrived and I scheduled an appointment. The day of, the technician calls again and says the wrong parts were delivered so he would have to order again... another month goes by and finally the new parts arrive so I scheduled yet another appointment. The day of, the technician calls and mentions that the dryer has to be taken off from on top of the washer and everything has to be taken out of the closet and was wondering if that had been done. Nobody in the multiple times I called TransGlobal mentioned that was a requirement and why does he have to mention it the day of the appointment? I can't move the washer on my own and I definitely can't carry a dryer on my own! The technician proceeded to lecture me on the fact that I should have read my manual and that there it clearly states that to service the machine it has to be taken apart and easily accessible. I got very upset because he shifted the blame on me and my appointment was cancelled yet again! It's been 3 months since my first call to TransGlobal and I'm no further ahead than I was on day 1. Terrible customer service if you ask me.

Frigidair Stove Burner

I got nothing but the run around for 3 weeks! After finally getting through to a manager, she was untruthful to me and told me part was defective and new one needed. ! The tech installed the original part judging from the date on the box it came in. This is the worst company and I would never ever recomend them.

lg french door fridge

we have had our fridge since nov 2 2008 after 8 months the fridge started to leek moisture into fridge causing mold on the inside roof. we have had a guy come out 5 times now and we have called them so many times to get this resolved and it ends up in a big run around its been basically 2 years now and it still leeks and still nothing done. I will NEVER buy insurance from transglobal again and i recommend no one else does either.

Washing Machine

A technician came out after I waited two weeks for an appointment, came in for 5 minutes and left saying it is fixed. Well, the washer is NOT fixed and he wouldnt come back to finish the repair. I've called the call centre, dispatch, and their manager several times, had to explain the whole situation 20 times and I've only been ignored, hung up on a few times, and they have been very dishonest. I've been waiting a month so far and still have no working washer. They booked it in for an appointment for a much later date telling me that it was booked in sooner, they promised a tech would be in the next week, I was ignored again. This has had several appointments and the tech has still only been here that one time for 5 minutes. What a joke. Do not purchase from The Brick if you are going to get warranty. They ignore you and do a really crummy job because you are stuck with no choice but to go with them.
