My dishwasher wasn't emptying . I called Maydone and talked to Igor who said he would send a technician. He arrived right at the scheduled time, tried to see if the problem was fixable but it would cost over $600 for parts. I decided it would be better to buy a new one than repair a 5 year old machine. I would highly recommend Maydone for their speed in coming to my house but also for their honest appraisal. If you have an appliance problem don't hesitate to call them.

Have used this company before for BBQ cleaning and last fall they serviced my gas fire. The two guys doing the job came early and did an excellent job. The BBQ isn't looking brand new because of some rust but it is very clean. They took care not damage my deck and cleaned up perfectly. Most reliable company which I highly recommend.

The water valve in our basement which serves water to the garage and garden wouldn't turn on. Mike and Adam from this company replaced the valve plus the one in the garage. Two lovely guys who discussed the work and did a great job. I contacted Drain King on this site and got a call within 30 minutes. They were able to to the job the next day. Wonderful service and company. Highly recommend.

I have been a Button's customer for many years. The office staff are friendly and courteous. Their Technicians are just wonderful, always helpful and informative. Brendan serviced our AC and he explained that due to it's age the unit isn't working as well as it should but is ok for now. Honest information to help plan for replacement at some point. I highly recommend this company.

Two extremely nice technicians arrived on time. They explained the cleaning process and did an amazing job. I have two senior dogs who tend to have accidents and all the stains are gone even the ones which have been there for some time. I will definitely use this company again and highly recommend to others.

From my first contact with Greg to the completion of the garden I would highly recommend this company. The team arrived on time, worked diligently and with care then cleaned up every day. Devon was wonderful to work with and very knowledgable. The old shrubs and sod were removed and replaced with trees, flowers and shrubs. All perennials with various colours which look beautiful. They also did some gravel work around our shed, to the side of our addition and in an area which doesn't get any light. They made a paver path at the side of the house and planted a row of Yews. In the front yard they again planted perennials, added black mulch and it looks fantastic. This is one of the best companies I have ever come across. Greg ensures all work is completed to 100% satisfaction. Again highly recommend.

We had this company replace our roofing shingles 10 years ago. They did an amazing job so we didn't hesitate to call them when the skylights in our addition were leaking. As usual Michael the owner ensured everything was done professionally and the main roof repairs caused by racoons was repaired too. Such a great company and would not hesitate to recommend.

My neighbour had lighting installed by Augusta and he was so happy with their work. I contacted the company and met Ryan for an estimate, They did a fantastic job and I am so happy with my front yard lighting. Highly recommend this company.

Patricio Sn and Patricio Jr have just finished painting my living/dining room. They did an excellent job, very thorough with great attention to detail. They made sure everything was cleaned up before they left and were very friendly. Finer Edge is fortunate to have them as employees. The company itself is the BEST, everyone I've dealt with has been friendly and professional. I highly recommend them.

Our roof had a lot of damage from animals trying to get in the roof space. Called Michael who came out quickly to assess the work and gave me a price. He was informative and very professional. Job took 2 days and I am so impressed by the work and the cleanup. His guys are great and I would not hesitate to recommend Michael and his company for any roofing job. There are a lot of bad roofers around don't be a victim call Michael first. You won't be disappointed.

Contacted Signature after reading their reviews on this website. I was unsure about the best solution for room darkening and what would look good aesthetically. Lyle showed various options and came up with beautiful blinds that look amazing and also completely block light. They easily open to let light in too. I love how they look and have no problem recommending this company to all. I will certainly be calling them when I need to replace existing blinds. Lyle is a genius.

Called this company and Kevin quoted a price over the phone and told me what would happen. He came to my house and sprayed a solution to kill the ants. He explained that I might still see a few live ants but that I had a warranty for one year should there be another problem. Great company to deal with and Kevin is a really nice guy. Highly recommend this company.

We could hear noises coming from the roof space of our house. Called Pesticon and they came next day. Shakeel found the problem quickly, the animal had removed the vent cover, he installed a one way door to allow it to come out. He also installed wire mesh to this vent plus the others to prevent animals gaining access again. Great company to deal with.

Called KC about the job and he got back to me very quickly. The work was completed within a week and they did a great job. KC is highly professional, showed me the cost of materials and completely cleaned away all the old trash. I have no problem recommending him to anyone.

This year I have had many decorating projects and a basement renovation. I took all the prints, canvas art etc. to this wonderful company. Lilian and Tim are so knowledgeable and every single item looked amazing, really giving the art a WOW factor. The people, who have seen their work in my home, are very impressed. Their quality and price cannot be matched. If you are thinking of having some art framed don't go anywhere else. Highly, highly recommend.

Mark and Johnny did an excellent job of cleaning the ducts in my house. The ducts were very dirty because we'd just finished a basement reno. These guys were polite, efficient and so nice. When the next clean comes around I will make one phone call and it will be to this company.

We recently renovated our basement. The contractors left saying they'd come back to install the backsplash but we finally gave up on them. Called Dmitri who came out quickly to give us an estimate. His price was favourable and he came back to do the job. His work is amazing, great attention to detail and he was good at leaving the area clean and tidy. He's also a really nice guy and a pleasure to have around. I'd recommend him to everyone who wants a professional job. You won't be sorry.

I called Farid because I'd been let down by another company. He arrived promptly and installed the mirror. It was a difficult install because he had to drill through porcelain tile but he finished the difficult job and we are very happy with the result. Highly recommend.

Called Vitaly as soon as I saw the huge mess in my laundry room. He arrived promptly and using a scope and snake managed to unblock the sewage pipe. He suggested we install new pipe and backwater flow valve to prevent this happening again. Since the city has a rebate for this problem we decided to go ahead. Vitaly and his workers were polite and did an excellent job. They also cleaned up after each part of the job was finished. I'd highly recommend them.

I have been using this wonderful company for a while and they always get the prints I bring in framed beautifully. They give great advice and the cost is always reasonable. They also always deliver on time.

Finer Edge is my go-to company whenever my house needs painting. They are an excellent company with the best painters in the city. I had the pleasure of having Nick back again and he is just amazing, nothing is too much trouble for him and his work is most professional. This is the first time I've had Robert paint and his attention to detail is fantastic. He's also a wonderful person and if you are fortunate enough to have him work in your home, you are a lucky person. Ask him to sing, he has a beautiful voice !! Finer Edge is the best. From Bill one of the co-owners to Lui a project manager,and all the guys I've met from this company, you'll find a company who care and make sure you are always happy with their work. Don't go anywhere else they really are the FINEST.

I have been using Maret's cleaning services for a long time and they are the BEST. My cleaners, Mario and Elena, do an excellent job and nothing is too much for them. They are a lovely couple and it feels like I'm seeing friends every 2 weeks. Exceptional couple and company.

Aubrey is the appliance magician. My dishwasher wasn't rinsing properly and as a consequence was leaving "bits" on dishes. Aubrey recognized the problem immediately and an hour later it was fixed. This is the second time I've called with a problem and he is always courteous and cares about his customers. If appliances are giving you problems call Aubrey first you wont be disappointed.

I talked to Gord a month or so ago about installation of custom cabinetry in a relatively small bedroom. He came up with a design and after a little tweaking and consultation with Brad, work was started. Nick began the job noticing that the drywall in a corner was in rough shape due to a leaky roof. Once I had the roof repaired he came back and did an excellent job patching the drywall and painting, also some electrical work. Vince, the project manager, had his finger on the pulse the entire time and kept the project running as smoothly as possible. Then Brad and his associate Ben manufactured and installed custom cabinetry on one entire wall and installed crown moulding to match, around the rest of the room. His work is outstanding with unbelievable attention to detail. Mark came back to finish the painting and Nick returned to finish up some electrical work. You will not find a better company than this anywhere in the Toronto area. Every employee is hard working, respectful and a downright pleasure to have around. They care about their work and will not stop until everything is perfect and the customer is happy. I now have a bedroom that looks so incredibly cool with loads and loads of closet space and a beautiful, brighter feel to it. To Finer Edge and your wonderful people a huge thank you.

This company is FANTASTIC. They are friendly, give great advice and do a really good job. Their prices are reasonable and their work first class. No point in doing this kind of thing yourself when you can get such a great job from them. Highly recommend.

Called Mr Roof and talked to Michael. We had started a bedroom reno and found a crumbling wall behind a piece of modular furniture. He sent 2 guys who, on a very rainy day, discovered that we had some serious leaks on the hip of the roof above the bad wall. They also discovered our vents had been installed incorrectly, were not sealed and 3 were the wrong type of vent. They fixed the immediate problem then came back a few days later to fix the rest. This roof was installed only 5 years ago ( see my review of the shady company who botched the job ). Mr Roof acted promptly, fixed the problem in a timely manner and provided before and after pictures. Would highly recommend them.

Would not recommend this company to anyone.Moved very fast to give their estimate and it was all downhill from there. No communication about when job would start or during work, shingles just arrived on driveway. After calling them was told they'd be starting job next day (thursday) the work actually began the following monday and took almost 4 days instead of the promised 2. Clean up was terrible our eavestroughs were badly blocked causing a flood in our laundry room.Had to have chimney recalked twice after job was supposedly finished.Poor communication, average job. Avoid! I'm editing this review 5 years later. Began a bedroom renovation and to my horror when modular furniture was removed found mould on 2 external walls. They were crumbling and I could see water in there. Called another roofing company who informed me that one leak was coming from the hip on the roof where the shingles were not wrapped and had no underlayment. All hip shingles need to be replaced. An attic vent in the area was installed incorrectly and is leaking. Out of a total of 8 attic vents 3 should have been exhaust vents and need to replaced. The other 5 have to be reinstalled properly to prevent leakage. I am furious - the bedroom project is on hold and we now need new drywall. Luckily the bedroom contractors are being great about the hold up as is the guy making the custom furniture. But I now face a bill of $2000 for the repair. Shame on you T Hamilton, your work ethic is disgraceful. If this review stops anyone from using your company I will be a happy woman.

I have had this company clean my house for over a year now. My house is spotless when they are finished and there is good communication with Maret, the owner, if I need to change the date or time for cleaning. All of her personnel are friendly, work hard, are trustworthy and care about the job they do. I highly recommend this company.

This is the second time I've had work done by Finer Edge. Nick did a fantastic job in my bathroom and I couldn't be happier. The team - Nick, Bill, Vince and Rob are an absolute pleasure to deal with. They don't cut corners, give great advise and really make sure you are happy with their work. Been talking to Gord about another project and he came up with some amazing ideas plus money saving tips. You can't get better than that.

Nick and Ennis have just completed my family room reno. What great guys, professional, knowledgeable, a joy to have around. Their work is amazing and they didn't leave until I was 100% happy with what they'd done ( I was 110%+ happy) From my first meeting with the owner Bill, meeting Luigi the foreman and then having Nick and Ennis do the work I can honestly say it was a most positive experience. When it comes time for further renovations, I will make one call and it will be to Finer Edge.

What a company !!!!!!!! Fence was built in 3 days and it looks great. Kyle, the guy who built it, worked very hard and was a pleasure to deal with, as were the guys who made the concrete posts. Alon, their sales manager, is a really nice guy and extremely knowledgeable. Their prices were good too. I would highly recommend this company.

If you need new outdoor furniture or want new cushions made don't go anywhere else. This place is amazing. Huge choice, friendly people and fair pricing. I bought 6 made to measure cushions and a new umbrella. Then returned to buy a resin wicker side table. All amazing quality and attractive desigs. This is the only store I'll go to when I need more patio products.

We need to erect a fence in our yard and cedars were in the way. I called Steve and he promptly gave me a quote. The work was done quickly and Steve and his crew did such an excellent job you'd never know there had once been trees in situ. They cleaned up EVERYTHING. Steve himself is a true, tree expert and we felt completely at ease with his suggestions. Amazing company, excellent prices and a pleasure to work with.

We were having problems with cars being vandalised in front of our house. We called Perry who advised us about outdoor lighting. The job involved installing lights either side of our garage, a dawn to dusk light and 3 low voltage spotlights in the tree in our front yard. Perry quickly gave us a price and ordered the necessary parts. His work was professional and friendly. He and his assistant cleaned up after installation and we are very pleased with his work. We highly recommend both Perry and Trademark.

After an energy audit I contacted Mark at Envirotech to look at our insulation needs. Had the attic insulated first with cellulose then the team came back a few weeks later to insulate my double brick house. Both times Ed, Paul and the team arrived on time and completed the work efficiently and with care. They were a pleasure to deal with.I would highly recommend Mark and his great group of guys to anyone who is interested in having this type of work done.

Flavio and his trainee Matthew installed a new laundry tub, replaced existing old copper pipes and drains. They were professional, most polite and cleaned up once the job was completed. Matthew suggested the frost hydrant as my husband was concerned with the existing plumbing to our back yard becoming frozen in the winter. I will certainly call Flavio for future plumbing needs and highly recommend him to others.

From my first call to Buttons to the finished installation I consider them to be a fantastic, family run company. Joe came to my house explained my options, gave a fair price and organised an installation date. His crew, headed by John, arrived on time and were very pleasant guys to deal with. They cleaned up when finished and John walked me through the new set-up. He also gave me the rebate forms for Enbridge and the next day I received rebate information for OPA by email. Joe's new ducting design has provided a lot more space in my laundry room. All in all I would highly recommend Buttons for their great work and professional friendly manner.

Stopped by this store in early July. We were looking for a new LCD TV which we wanted to mount on a wall. Instead chose a wall unit capable of having a TV mounted on it's backboard plus a TV. Peter, the salesman, informed us that it would be a 10-12 week wait which was OK with us. He said they'd had some problems with the unit manufacturer in the past but was confident they had been resolved. In August had a call to confirm the stain colour of the wood. We went with our original choice. Time went by and didn't hear from them. Called them and were told the unit would be in the following week. The TV was already in the warehouse. A couple of weeks went by then had a call to say they'd received a unit but it wasn't ours and were informed that the unit manufacturer no longer uses the stain we'd ordered. Therefore 10+ weeks later we were back to square one as far as the wall unit was concerned. We chose to cancel the order but still wanted the TV. Alas more bad news. They'd had an "incident" in their warehouse and our TV was damaged. We'd paid them $3,200 in July and had nothing to show for it. They had the nerve to forward an email from the unit manufacturer's CEO stating all the problems they were having with production. The salesman also suggested I check out a range of Entertainment furniture they didn't carry but which another store in TO did. We'd found the manufacturer of this range ourselves by searching the internet!!! He suggested we choose the design we liked then Sound Designs would order what we wanted!!! In other words let another company do a selling job for them but not make the sale. We can't understand why they were not keeping track of our order. Why they called to confirm a stain choice which was no longer available and why we received the manufactures email. In our opinion all they wanted was a sale and they were prepared to do anything to get it. Of course we wanted a credit for the money we'd spent and went back to the store. It was a Saturday and sadly they could not put a credit through because the "accountant" had to do it. This person would not be in until the following Monday!!!!! Talked to a guy called Paul who is the GM and part owner and at no time during our conversation did he take responsibility for his company's complete lack of service. I guess they could only take money but two and a half months later couldn't give it back. A highly unprofessional company who have no idea what is going on with their suppliers and who, it seems to us, don't care.

I'd asked Maret to do a spring cleaning job in my kitchen plus wash down walls and trim in my hallway. She brought Inga and Ella to my house and they did a fantastic job. Both ladies worked until everything was sparkling and all the time with smiles on their faces. Nothing was too much for them. Maret returned when they were finished and made sure I was completely satisfied with the work. I have decided to use this company for a monthly clean of my entire house. It's so nice to find a company committed to customer satisfaction, many out there don't care and only want the money for what is often a mediochre job at best.

This is the best carpet cleaning company I've come across. They have cleaned my carpets many times usually after my dog has had an "accident" but I also use them to freshen up my carpets a couple of times a year. They specialise in sanitation cleaning for people with pets. There are many reasons why I am so impressed with this company, they are so friendly and helpful, they strive to do a perfect job and the carpets are dry after only one hour. What can I say they're WONDERFUL!!!
