Looking for a repair to an existing iron gate. I am hoping to keep this a simple repair to get the existing gate reinstalled:
- repair/replace 1 failed gate hinge (needs to be re-welded, see photos for example of a good hinge and where the old hinge weld failed)
- straighten the current gate posts (they are <5 degrees off vertical due to age/settling)
- reinstall the second gate back onto the repaired gate post
I plan to take care of repainting afterwards.

Need to move a rv gate over 6 feet. Closer to the alley to allow easier access when backing trailer into the yard. Will have to remove one post and install one post. I would like a short fence with a gate installed in the gap shown in the picture, from the fence to the left to the house on the right, across the division you can see in where the stonework changes to concrete. The gate/fence would be for security for our dog, to keep her in our unshared backyard space and out of the shared pathway between my house and my neighbour's house.
